What's the format? If Amy Yang and Mirim Lee have 2 putts per hole this thing is over already.

What's the format? If Amy Yang and Mirim Lee have 2 putts per hole this thing is over already. Remember, they're copying the guys' Zurich Classic of New Orleans format, alternating between foursomes and four-ball, with the cut being low 35 teams and ties.
A factor in why you don't see some of the bigger names turning up is because the last two majors of the season follow immediately after this event.Kevin

They just added 22 more teams to the list...let's say there's some interesting "contrast" out there...Muni & Konkraphan Karen Chung & C. Kim
There are still openings for two teams .... no MHL or Chella .... are they waiting for appearance fees?

Lori Beth Adams has 4 starts on the LPGA this year, but she hasn't seen the weekend. Her best Symetra finish this year is T3. Kelly has a win on the Symetra and made both cuts on her two LPGA starts. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bz8daKsHiHp

I have had a feeling for a while that this event is going to be awesome. ( A Ji Yai + Se Ri pairing would make it off the charts. )
With the Open happening in a different time zone, GC could go all in on this during the day. It fits the space so perfectly. The airtime is available, Wed to Sat, LPGA personalities are going to shine. Doesn't look like that is happening though.... two hours coverage a day.

The Open time zone is favorable; but not much when Golf Channel spends 14.5 hours a day covering it. More to the point, not much is left in the States when both NBC and GC send almost all their on air personalities and production staff to Northern Ireland.

Yeah, and they fill that time up with endless talking head discussions about every bit of trivia you can imagine, showing the entirety of every press conference, or reshowing the golf three or four times. They could easily fit more LPGA in there. Even PGA fans need to take a break for lunch or dinner!

DOW isn't up for edgy humor during these player interviews.
Would you rather drive or fly?
