This week the LPGA moves to San Francisco, California for the playing of the LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship. Last year was the inaugural playing of this event, and it had one of the most exciting finishes of the year. Minjee Lee came from three strokes behind to catch Lydia Ko and force a playoff. The playoff would not last long as Ko eagled the first playoff hole for the victory. Here is my preview (and much more) of this week's event: www.tonyslpgareport.com/

Some guy told me at the ANA. That Morgan Pressel's husband is now running the Mediheal Championship.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw5SjGmFa6X You would think that at least one of the Mediheal sponsored golfers from the KLPGA. Made it there in time to be included in this poster and maybe the LPGA number one player.
Oh well, why am I surprised about who they picked to focus on, same O same O. Edit: Jin Young K is skipping this one. What I don't understand why Henderson is so special to them that she is featured in every Promo. Not to mention more TV time than any other golfers , at every tournament. Nothing against her because she is a good maybe close to great golfer. But that doesn't mean that she should be part of the Headline every tournament. Ok! I got that off my mind and will not ever bring it up again.

I think the promo is a good mix of top ranked golfers representing 6 different countries. Hard to argue about those players chosen. Also, another nice promotion featured Annie Park and Megan Khang taking the trophy all over San Francisco. I agree we don’t need to see so much of Henderson when she’s not in the top few spots or making a big run.

I’ll always appreciate complaining about LPGA promotions even though in this case SYFan is chipping out sideways. Brooke is the Arnold Palmer of golf now, men’s or women’s. They just don’t play in Canada enough for it to be obvious.

OK..Just one more thing. I don't think that she is the Arnold Palmer of golf. My complaint is why is the LPGA going way out of the way to make her that. If it wasn't for all the focus on her she would be looked at as just a good player. I haven't seen anything exciting about her, so why do you think she compare to Palmer.
If anyone should be compared to him, it would be Ariya.

Well she's the Canadian version so we can't completely relate to it. But when I see her pink shirt, Master Card logo and an army of fans at the Canadian Open to me it's Palmer. Granted I only really saw AP on the Senior Tour.
