FYI, Sky Kim will tee off at #1 at 9:40 AM EST. My usual real-time photo source appears to be down so far.
Nice working broadcast...I was out for the first 90 minutes...looks pretty good...just have to stay up to 3 AM. The woman commentator is pro Yukari Baba...three career wins on Japan's big tour. I thought she was retired...actually, she is mostly retired (three cuts made in seven starts in 2018).

The cut is currently +3.

At 2:18:50 of the video below, the group of SW Bae, Yui Kawamoto and Momoka Miura is hitting their second shots at the par-5 9th. Momoka Miura (2:20:08) holed out her second shot, but into the wrong hole. Last year, she put one into someone backpack while he was wearing it. EDIT: Almost forgot...check out Bae's sucky 3rd shot at 2:23:36.
Yuka Yasuda (+6) and her amateur divot fill bag
SW Bae (+5)
Minami Katsu and Sakura Koiwai
S. Langkul had an eagle-2 at the par-4 4th.
Serena Aoki
Karis Davidson (+5)
Sky Kim (+4)
Kotone Hori (+4)
JY Shin and Saiki Fujita (+1)

Is this the same place they played the four tour event a couple of years ago? I remember that one par 3 with the wicked hill to the left, and Davidson looks like she's playing that hole.

This event is at a different golf course, but I know what hole you're talking about: the par-3 16th at Miyoshi CC (West course). Here's what I posted at the 2016 Queens at Kowa thread (unfortunately, the video was taken down):
With the flag on the left, if you miss the green left, the ball runs down a steep hill through some trees. That's what happened to Su Yeon Jang's tee shot, as she was All Square with Ritsuko Ryu. Ryu's tee ball gave her about an eight-foot birdie look right of the pin. Then Jang hit one of the most unbelievable recovery shots I've ever seen...took out 3-wood (I think) and rapped a hard worm-burner that scampered up the hill and finished about three feet from the hole. That must have shook up Ryu, who figured she'd win that hole, no sweat. Instead, she missed her birdie putt and walked to the next hole, didn't bother watching Jang's par putt (which she made).

I remember kind of getting irritated by Ryu in that tournament, and specifically by the very reaction you mention. I also remember another group a few minutes later having someone pull off that exact same ridiculous shot again.

The cut was +5 and 60 players made it. Big Mama Ahn dropped out after nine holes with neck pain.

JY Shin
Sakura Koiwai shriveled up on the weekend two weeks ago...no more of that s#@& tomorrow.
MC twins Asako Fujimoto and Kotone Hori...Hori was a lock to play Sunday until she spewed her breakfast on her last nine holes.
Chae Young Yoon (+4)
Ah Reum Hwang
Minami Katsu (E) ... looking for more inspiration from the portrait of the blond K-pop front boy in her yardage book.
Kaore Ohe (MC) and Saiki Fujita (+5)
Solar eclipsed on Saturday (72-80, MC) and SW Bae (MC)
Great comeback by Yuka Yasuda (77-70), who will play Sunday...Japan's not sending a quitter to Augusta...plus, she is only one shot back of Suzuna Akizaki (R) for low am.

I keep hoping, but if the cut was plus nine. Kotone Hori would find a way to miss it. I really think now that she has to believe in herself. Only then will she play better.
I may have asked this before. Is Chae Young Yoon and Yoon Kyung Heo related. They have similar facial features.

Shin just made a ridiculous par save at #6...she is Even for the day, as is her playing partners Koiwai and Langkul. Looks like Koiwai replaced her Anglo caddy with an Asian one.
It's Momoko Ueda who has taken a one-shot lead from the next-to-last group. Rei Matsuda is also having a hot start.
