One of the best articles written by Randall Mell Newsmaker of the Year: No. 9, Global growth of women's game
In December, the LPGA announced that CME Group CEO Terry Duffy would double the purse for the season-ending Tour Championship in 2019 and raise the winner’s check to $1.5 million, the largest in the history of the women’s game. It is notable that it will be greater than the first-place check was in 33 of 47 PGA Tour events last season.

They can start by showing LPGA golf live!!!!!

They can start by showing LPGA golf live!!!!! There is nothing TGC can do; they've a contract with LPGA and they follow the contract. LPGA owns the total responsibility. They need a contract that will keep the sponsors and fans happy. Nothing will change in 2019 because the old contract won't expire until end of 2019. The pressure is on LPGA to sign a new and better TV contract from 2020 and on; either with TGC or with other networks.

He writes a story about the growth of global golf, then they illustrate it with a shot of Lexi Thompson. That's weak sauce if I ever saw it.

Oh, and an article about international golf that doesn't mention the Koreans. Nice.
