Great second round by Ji Hyun Oh and Ayean Cho. I guess they shook off whatever was bothering them and really focused. Alas, they were done before I started watching. Hye Jin, however, tanked. Hopefully she can refocus and return to top style in round three. Pajaree (+2, T-44) made the cut, so at least I don't look dumb after that build-up I gave her.
Song Yi Ahn is in the next-to-last group tomorrow...ugh, she's too far back for her first win...I hope I'm wrong.

Wonder if Hana is missing all that freezing air in Korea and constantly changing her parka. . .

I think Hye Jin is a little tired. I wonder what's going on with Ha Na Jang and Min Sun5 Kim. I expected both to be contending every week. Not only are they not contending, but they seem to be going the other way. Maybe the new year they will recharge and full fill their potential.

The Minjee's (or Min Ji, same spelling in Korean) are coming; Park picked up what Minjee Lee has been doing all 2018.

I wonder Hye Jin Choi is facing a sophomore slump; Lucky 6 struggled initially during her sophomore season but recovered with a bang.

Ayean Cho doesn't need to worry about sophomore slump; she's a freshman. She's in position for a Top 3 finish.

Having seen Gyeol Park win, my next wish list item is to see one of the three Amigos claim a victory. These three - Eun Soo Jang, Da Been Heo, and So Hye Park -- are all going into their third year and hitting their twenties now. Jang is top five right now, Heo is t-12th, so they both have a chance at a decent result to start the year. Who knows, maybe Jang can even grab a surprise win here. Amigos Hwaiting! Speaking of calendars(on another thread) and who's hot on this thread, Min Ji was the 2018 October Calendar girl. . . Her English handwriting is pretty good if that's hers. . .

Min Ji saying let's get the show on the road. . .unfortunately she'a already given up her two stroke lead after just one hole. . . Miss Oh up to 3rd place with a -5 total after 3. . . Looks like the broadcast is beginning an hour earlier as is usual with KLPGA Final rounds so it is starting now at 9:00 PM CST. . .

Tough day at the office so far. Forty seven players are over par today.
So Young Lee has moved up to second place, minus six through fourteen holes. Minus eight total, one shot out of the lead.

There was some drama as Ji Young Park had three straight birdie chances, 16-18, before finally getting the job done at 18. . .So Young had hot round of the day at -7 and had the clubhouse lead until that 18th birdie by Ji Young. . .Min Ji just missed an eagle at 18 that would have tied the lead. . .Miss Oh faltered a bit as did Hye Jin. . .I bet the water bath at the end felt good to Ji Young. . .she was overcome with emotion at the interview with Miss Hong. . . Miss Hong was there with the interview. . .
