Golf is fascinating; it's a game easy to start, difficult to master and easy to lose.
Lexi won twice in 2017, won Vare Trophy with one of the lowest scoring average ever; who'd ever think that she'd not win this late in 2018.
Similar stories go on and on every year.

The pairings are threesome and two tees because TV broadcast is scheduled to end at 4:00 PM local time.
A twosome single tee pairing would require the last group to tee off at 11:50 AM and first group to tee off at 6:00 AM.

The days of -8 round may be over; Lydia Ko and Jin Young Ko have the best round of the day at -4 through 12 and 11 holes respectively.
Winds are down but greens remain hard and fast.

Jessica Korda +2 after nine starting 10th tee; she hit only four greens and didn't birdie any of the three par 5's.

In Gee repeated her recent pattern; opening strong, quick doubles or bogeys in the back nine to kill all the momentum.
She doubled #1, three on green and three putted; this is after hitting all nine greens and shooting -3 from 10th to 18th.
It has to be mental; why couldn't she change today when nothing is on the line and everything is gravy?

Amy Yang scheduled fourth round collapse came early; she's +2 after 2. The only time she don't collapse is when she is up against So Yeon. She seem to find her "A" game like a lot other players do against So Yeon.

Jessica can't blame the wind today, she needs to stay focused. Stop wasting her talent.

Looks like Jin Young will win the battle of the rookies today. But her putting, seemingly all missing to the right, if on target would make her a super-elite player in my opinion.

Talk about drama, Bronte Law also at 9 under. What a pairing that would be! But there are several others at -9 so maybe it will be drama free.
