Congratulation, the minor league golfers from the KLPGA won the tournament 13 to 11 against the Major league LPGA . It were really a fun match for me. So Yeon really, really, really needs to do something about her putting. She wasted some great approach shots. However my other favorite Jin Young played great.

On the other hand, it looks like Ryu brought her rotten putting back to Korea. Maybe the LPGA should have played the JLPGA Koreans instead. SYR really stunk it up....she should be so embarrassed she lost her RR #1 spot to an overweight and non-athletic looking Chinese woman....nuff said. I think McCormick might dump her as a student...an association with SYR won't help him shill his Revolution Golf,

Final day The two teams pretty much went even today, allowing the KLPGA to capture their first win in this event 13-11. I think there was a little bit of fiddling here -- in what universe does it make sense to have Inbee Park sitting out in singles? Even injured, she is hands down the best, most ruthless closer on either team. I suspect there was a desire to make things a bit more even by 'suggesting' the LPGA sit out one big name per day; the KLPGA never sat out one of their big stars (except maybe Ha Na Jang, who sat out today; but she has not played well since rejoining the tour, and is not the player she was earlier this year). Having said that, the KLPGA definitely rose to the occasion, played the hands they were dealt, and walked off with an impressive win. And the LPGA were not able to capitalize today against some of the weaker players like they could have. So, congrats to the KLPGA! Results: Jeong Eun Lee 5 def Ji Hyun Oh 2 & 1 Five won the MVP for the LPGA, which I don't see at all. She got manhandled by 6 yesterday. But today she came back from a big deficit to beat one of Team KLPGA's better players. Oh is potentially a great player, but it looks like she couldn't handle the pressure towards the end of the round. MJ Hur loses 3 & 2 to Ji Hyun Kim 2Jenny Shin loses 7 & 6 to Ji Hyun KimOuch! What a massacre this one was! Eun Hee Ji ties Char Young Kim Ji should have been the MVP for Team LPGA. 1 win and 2 ties beats 2 wins 1 loss for Five. Mirim Lee 3 & 2 over Ji Young Kim Mirim should have won this one and did win it. She had two wins for the week. Na Yeon Choi lost 3 & 2 to Seung Hyun LeeNot a surprise here. Amy Yang won 3 & 2 over Hye Jin Choi Biggest surprise of the week: Choi went 0-3 Mi Hyang Lee ties Da Yeon Lee This was a lost chance for LPGA to beat arguably the worst player in the competition. Hyo Joo Kim 1 up over Jeong Eun Lee 6 Big win for Hyo Joo, but too little, too late. So Yeon Ryu lost 3 & 2 to Seon Woo BaeRyu cost the LPGA this title. She lost both her matches and skipped the third. She should have been the favorite in all of them. Bae won the MVP for Team KLPGA. Sei Young Kim lost 3 & 2 to Jin Young KoTough loss for Kim against a worthy opponent. In Gee Chun won 1 up over Min Sun Kim 5 In Gee was 1 win 1 tie 1 skip. I call BS on Ha Na Jang ducking this match. Her wrist seemed perfectly fine when she was repeatedly pumping her fist in her other matches. I really think she chickened out facing her nemesis Chun. Ha Na Jang Inbee Park Aftermath Team KLPGA Trophy Team LPGA

LPGA were missing Sung Hyun Park, but still, a reminder that there really isn't much difference in class between the KLPGA Tour and the LPGA. Good stuff.

Does anyone have a final KLPGA money list? Top 20 would be great. Same with the JLPGA money list. Thanks.

Except for So Yeon, I didn't think the LPGA golfers lost to other inferior golfers.
I thought Jeong Eun6 Lee should have beaten Hyo Joo Kim. She played a lot of rounds and began to tire the last part of season. Ji Hyun Oh should have beaten Jeong Eun5 Lee easily.
If Inbee had played she might had set out one of the LPGA players that won anyway. So the outcome would have been the same. No excuses the KLPGA won.
The LPGA Korean players need to play better in these team competitions. Like losing the International Crown when they were clear favorites twice.

The LPGA Korean players need to play better in these team competitions. Like losing the International Crown when they were clear favorites twice. IMO, the KLPGA has four LPGA-star-quality players: Jin Young Ko, Jeong Eun Lee 6, Ha Na Jang (but she is not what she was earlier in the year), and Hye Jin Choi (who may not be week-to-week able to compete on the LPGA yet, but can certainly get a win if she is on her game). They also have four more players who may be able to maintain tour cards at this time: Seon Woo Bae, Min Sun Kim, Ji Hyun Oh, Ji Hyun Kim. People slam Five around here, but keep in mind that she has as many KLPGA wins as those four ladies. On a good day, I'd add Seung Hyun Lee and Ji Hyun Kim 2, but both are very streaky. The other KLPGA team members are significantly below LPGA standard. An inferior team can hang with a better team in match play if they use their stars wisely; that can cover up less depth. But in singles, there should be nowhere to hide. The LPGA should have still easily won this week, but injuries and bad putting cost them big time. So Yeon Ryu was not long ago the #1 player in the world, she should not have had any problem beating Seon Woo Bae. Remember how she manhandled Lexi Thompson at the International Crown? Do you think Bae is in Thompson's league? I don't. And I'm sorry, but you don't sit three of your best players in these team events, it makes no sense. Literally one more win might have turned the tide here. I'd sit Na Yeon Choi in a heartbeat for Inbee in singles. Inbee could play left handed and probably beat Choi at this point.

Sensational event. Plenty of star power on both sides, exotic landscape. (I love golf on dormant grass.) In Gee is never more beautiful and radiant than when in front of her home fans. So talkative too. Jin Young having an underling carry her coat in between shots was a cool touch. She is a boss.
If the so-called golf channel had any balls they'd show the event. Plenty enough LPGA stars in there to appeal to a regular LPGA audience. Late night, late November, what could they possibly have to lose. Really wish they could be a little more adventurous with their so-called programming.

Well I totally missed this one. I guess I need to check in more often. My bad. Na Yeon used to dress so classy. What happened? Those pants are a terrible cut and they don't fit at all. I can handle ones game going south, that's golf, but don't compete for worst dressed with the likes of SNaP, Bam Bam and that ilk. I won't have it!

BadA$$ ain't so bad anymore. This thread is a rare hand-holding moment with HF and mr3putt: they both bashed NYC. But, I have to agree that not benching NYC in the singles was a mistake...the LPGA had gotten everything they could out of her during the team matches. I assume Ryu was benched in Round One so she wouldn't overwork her bad shoulder...maybe Winbee sat herself in the singles thinking her back might not hold up? Speaking of NYC, this article says she had a new caddie and hopes he sticks around...many loopers have kicked her to curb in the last two years: jtbcgolf.joins.com/news/news_view.asp?ns1=33396&news_type=2Meanwhile, Terminator the snob watched this on TV stretched out on a couch with her dog and snickered at her 2018 competition.

Late night, late November on Thanksgiving weekend...the only people watching would be the 129 members of this website. And there would be significant rights fees and costs involved. Even if they used the Korean video they'd have to send a couple of announcers over to do English commentary. I think Mike Ritz would finally quit in disgust if he was ordered to do the late night Thanksgiving voice-over for this from Orlando.
