Upon reflection, 18th hole at Emirates GC is better than the 18th at the ANA. In regulation, the broadcasters were completely fooled by Yin's drive...then they watched a replay and saw her ball run through the fairway and into the drink on the right. Plus, hitting a short iron over the water is not a done deal, as Herbin demonstrated during the playoff. At today's exchange rate, Muni picked up $4,942...I assume that's almost all profit if she got the sheikhs to comp her travel costs. I wonder what she paid that golf pro to loop for her. Congratulations to Yin on her first win, but a great shout out to Inky for making this one exciting. My TiVo ran out right after she hit that fantastic approach to two feet on the first playoff hole, so I had to look up the conclusion on YouTube... She had a great final round and first playoff hole, but in the end it really came down to just missing that great eagle chance on 17 in regulation. Bummer, but it's hard to complain when she did so much so right, especially when you consider at one point she was at +3 and totally out of it and made a huge comeback to almost win.
It's weird that Inky has not won a pro playoff in six tries. She has way too much talent not to have claimed one at some point. Ah well, still a great week for her.
My only minor complaint: if you're going to have two different playoff holes, why make them two of the holes where the long hitter has a huge advantage? How about the par 5 and maybe a par 3 or normal par 4? But other than that, a fun way to end the year!

Angel Yin hit the ball all over the place on the last four holes. Too her credit she were able to save par on all four. Even after her drive went in the water on eighteen. Kudos to her for hanging in their and getting the win.
Another great tournament for In Kyung Kim, even thou she fell short of the win.

I saw the replay of the final round last night on the Golf Channel. On Twitter, LPGA.com mistakenly gave the time as 11:30AM not PM.
Great maiden pro victory for Angel! I hope to see her pick up the same on the LPGA tour next season. That really was a missed opportunity for Inky with her eagle putt on 17 during regulation. I thought she was going to make it.
Did anything epitomize the difference between the LPGA and LET than the first playoff hole? Angel and Inky knocked their respective third shots close to the hole. Herbin knocked hers into the drink.
The male announcer on the broadcast kept pronouncing Laura Davies' last name as "Davis". I wonder where they picked him from?

Go China Go! China >>> Korea.....just sayin. Congrats Angel.....she's a PLAYA. I kind of thought she was playing KBS C-Tapers when watching on TV....so I did a Google for a WITB. Angel is a BEAST...yup not only C-Tapers but in S+.....C-Tapers are a very meaty shaft...many describe that they play like a 2" x 4" The C-Tapers are paired with Fourteen forged irons. Look at the shafts on her other clubs...very STOUT. www.golfwrx.com/461826/angel-yin-witb-2017/Yup, I hope to see her play soon. But Angel still needs to dial it in...she was sloppy quite a few times this week.

I know Brian Alexander (member of VGC) volunteered to loop for Lydia at the 2012 CN CWO...heck Tina didn't even buy the guy a hot dog & Coke at the turn. Brian was interviewed for TV.....when Tina first met Brian....she questioned whether he was capable to loop....LMAO....hello Tina....Brian is a past BC Sr. Am Champ...likely knows every inch at VGC......I think the guy is well into his 60's...maybe even 70's and still carries a 0.6 cap.

But she is very talented for a PART TIMER and a gal who doesn't really love golf. 2) LMAO...so you propose they look for 2 holes to even things out for both a SHORTY and a BOMBER....including some potential play-off holes that might be on the other side of the course. LOL. Maybe you should write to Whan .......if Lexi, Bam Bam, Angel, Namdalla, etc are up against Inky in a future play-off ......they should hit off a tee further back to level the playing field for Inky...problem solved. You just need to accept that length does have it advantages....though I did win 40 skins off a friend today who is 18 years younger and has a driver club head speed approx 6-7 mph greater than I. And yes......the LGU continues to demonstrate they are CLOWNS....the 17th hole as a driveable par 4 was a JOKE....there was no trouble around the green.

If you are a REAL Korean...your English is very good. I'm a FAKE Chinese...so my Cantonese S*CKS.

They didn't give a yardage....likely less than 100 yards for both Aditi & Herbin...pretty sad for gals with a cap of +3 to +5.....but it's not the 1st nor last time we'll see these types of flubs....STRESS KILLS. 2) Ya, that guy was just BRUTAL...he BUTCHERED many names.

If the BRUTAL putting we all witnessed in the final round doesn't demonstrate that women's putting is inferior to men's putting.....then I don't know what will. And the greens looked like they were at 9.5 on the stimp....tops...which makes the sloppy putting that much more pathetic.
Inky, Angel and many others missed so many putts....and how about Pernilla 3 jacking from 12 feet and then taking a minute to mark and line up her 2 foot par putt only to miss it and not even touch/rim the hole...UGH.
