Rumbles in the distance have sent the players off the course in golf carts about five minutes ago.
I think I figured out the woman doing the Wowow color commentary...Mayumi Hirase. Never heard of her before, but had 18 wins on Japan's big tour...was the leading money winner in '93 & '94.

In Gee is seven shots off the lead and needs to shoot -16 to reach -20 over the weekend to contend.
However, shooting a -5 is nothing to complain any day of the week.

It's an impressive leaderboard; however, the field will need mercy from Shanshan to have any chances.
Shanshan can easily shoot -5 each for the weekend and defends her title.

So Yeon took advantage of the stop in play to refocus. She were one over after the tenth hole when play was suspended. She made four birdies the last seven holes after play resumed.

Thx 18majors for 2 successive SYK interviews. I felt a tad frustrated over my fav player, still I gave her a pass: what she lost in her fearlessness, she gained quite a lot on her English. Kudo for her for correcting herself on the use of past tense. Beside, this is why I like her ".... No big deal. Still have 2 more rounds..." I hope at the start of 2018 she'll gain enough experiences necessary to become a dominant LPGA player.

Nelly and Concolino both missed aces at #7 by inches. Thirty minutes into the broadcast and I haven't seen Lydia yet...at -6 she is seven shots back...that big write-up by R. Mell after Round One totally wasted! Mi Hyang is sleep-walking through this one...she'll be a lot better in Japan next week, she likes it over there. Speaking of sleep, I'm going to bed.

Cristie Kerr is on the verge of her second win of the season at age 40; quite an inspiration.
