Okay, I misunderstood the article...obviously they will play some golf on Friday although it's clear that not everyone will finish Round One...the last groups are going out at 4:20 PM. Naturally, the SBS Golf streaming link that was working earlier is kaput now.

news.joins.com/article/22031821Not sure about the translation of the above article. It seems that all hell broke loose Thursday night when the committee refused to remove penalties from several players for the green fringe issue, while other players were not dinged for committing the same acts. This sentence is clear enough: The players protested until the midnight after the first round, referring to the 'boycott of the tournament'. Here's one of the greens: ********* www.hankookilbo.com/v/6f43a72e36b04aeebc323c6e0796fc01Another article...it says they had white dots in place to identify the fringe during the afternoon, but NOT during the morning. I don't think it's too difficult to see. The top is the green...the middle is the fringe....the bottom is the rough. CYBORG...wake up....ya can't mark your ball on the fringe.....unless it's lift, clean and CHEAT. I'm thinking Tutta's regrets cancelling her flight to Taipei.

Ok....I'm watching the stream...seems pretty obvious what is fringe and what is green....looks like CYBORG was trying get away with some classic Korean cheatin. I can GUARANTEE that Larry the Loop will have a reference to this incident on his blog......not that he's ever been accused of shaming the Koreans.

I don't know what score pie-faced cutie Hye Youn Kim posted yesterday, but she went out there today like she got off death row...reeled off four birdies on her first seven holes and leads by one shot.
*****
NOW I understand what was going on with the online scoreboard last night. Starting at #10, I noticed Cyborg opened with three pars, followed by three birdies, putting her among the leaders. Then she vanished and reappeared at one-under par...because they changed her score on #10 to a bogey and #13 to a par. I thought that was weird...we sometimes see glitches on the online LPGA scoreboard, but I don't recall seeing it on the KLPGA version.

The Olweb TV streaming site looks really flaky to me, but it is providing me with SBS Golf. The bottom of the screen is cut-off, but I'm not touching any buttons to change it.

The Olweb stream started freaking out, so I dropped it and switched over to Taiwan. We have a 90 watch...Q Baek is +9 on her first ten holes.

Round 1 Kyu Ri Kim made an ace Does she get to keep whatever bonus she got even though the ace, along with the rest of her play on Thursday, no longer counts?

As bizarre as it is to have an event shortened to 54 holes because of this controversy, at least they're not the PGA Tour LatinoAmerica, who found that the dates of this week's Peru Open conflicted with the national census on Sunday, a once every ten year event which mandates that no one aside from those in certain professions be outdoors between 8am-5pm so that they can be counted by the enumerators. As a result the tournament was shortened to 54 holes concluding on Saturday, but the change came too late to enable many players to change their departure plans so they'll be stuck until Sunday evening.www.pgatour.com/la/en/news/2017/10/17/peru-census-turns-lexus-peru-open-into-a-54-hole-affair.htmlKevin

Kevin GIVE IT BACK! I remember watching the first Wrigley Field night game on TV, Cubs vs. Phillies. Phil Bradley lead off with a home run (the first pitch, I think). But, the rain came and washed him out of the history books before it was an official game. BTW, Yoo Lim Choi aced #3 during the restart.

Then restart the program. I really don't try to adjust the screen or click on any thing else. It returns with a commercial and continue with golf.
