I could only imagine the whining and sniveling from Happyfan if it was MHL, MJ or Bada*s who drove into the fairway bunker at 17 and had the trophy STOLEN from them.

UPDATE: BA made the putt...on to #18. Oh wait, they just showed two sprouted umbrellas in the grandstand.I continue to shake my head that the LPGA and in this case, the LGU........why they build grandstands for NON-EXISTENT galleries.....duh...ya can't teach stupid. Though Langer CHEATED his way to another victory in front of crickets too. The Euro tour event had pretty good galleries in Germany....I guess everyone came out to see TOP 5. Isn't this same course as the men's Scottish Open a couple of weeks ago? Did they leave up the grandstands?

The Golf Channel and LPGA doesn't want to admit that So Yeon is number one. I would really be surprised if she has a top pairing. I can't wait to see who she is paired with at the Ricoh British open. So Yeon probably realize that as well.

There are 15 players with scoring average of under 70.00 as of now; this has to be the most competitive Vare Trophy race ever.

Talk about fast action...JTBC Golf will show 90 minutes of highlights from the 2014 Mizuno at 12:30 AM EST Monday...remember who won that one? Will have more comments later, as Mizuno starts in five minutes.

JTBC Golf will show the 2014 Mizuno again on Tuesday at 2 AM EST. I dropped by my parents' house around 4:30 PM and changed their TV to the RBC Canadian Open...didn't want to get spoiled, since I could watch Aberdeen later at night on JTBC Golf. I didn't count on the CBS jerks flashing the final LPGA scores before the GC broadcast was finished. No time wasted by Volvik...she played the white (blue pearl) version of the S3.

So Yeon probably realize that as well. I think there are two types of #1 players. The first is the kind who is there because of the numbers -- she just finishes well more often than anyone else. The second type is the Ya Ni Tseng type who wins a ton, and when she gets on the leaderboard, everyone is worried. IMO So Yeon is the first type of #1. If she wants to get treated as the "true" #1 player (to coin a phrase), she needs to start throwing her weight around a little more. If she wins this coming week, I would expect the level of respect she gets to go up big time.

Round 4 Congratulations to Mi Hyang Lee! After two rounds, she was so far back she was practically an afterthought. She seized control of this event from Webb and Kerr. Very impressive! Webb went through the ultimate golf gods test: they gave her the chip-in eagle, then took away with that weird bounce into the bunker. I'm less happy about her complaining about not knowing the score. If this was a big issue to her, she could have asked one of the walking scorers, or her caddie, to find out what the score was. Not sure there was much she would have done differently anyways. Let's not forget MJ Hur, who follows her third at the US Women's Open with a second here. And Inky sneaked in a top ten too. Could be a great week next week for one of those two, both of whom are very solid players who have never won a Major. Nice top ten by Sun Young Yoo! First of the year for her... Mediocre week for So Yeon, but she still managed a top 25. Given how up and down she was, that's not too bad. Sei Young alas had to deal with Kerr for two days and it got to be too much. Ah well, better luck next time. Sisters Hwaiting! Mi Hyang Lee

This is another example of classic Korean poor execution and complete INCOMPETENCE. Pros like SYR and NYC get shafted not playing in feature groups.....their Korean agents are useless. If the Smiling Buddha was their agent...he'd DEMAND a face to face with Whan and tell him it's a joke a premier pro is not playing in all the feature time slots. He'd also remind Whan that the Korean pay a pretty penny for the TV feeds and that the LPGA would simply be an extension of the Symetra tour if not for the Asia based sponsors. I'm pretty confident there are more Korean LPGA TV viewers than Yanks. Let's face it...80% of the members here would do a more effective job working at the LPGA and GC....nuff said. The REAL Koreans need to follow the FAKE Korean's leadership (e.g. Lydia, Minjee, Su Oh, GIMMEE) and hire a REAL agent....The Dark Side V2....IMG.....just sayin. SYR and NYC are to blame for hiring USELESS Korean agents.

www.mizuno.jp/golf/Mizuno's Japanese golf website has a staffer picture of SY Kim, along with a congratulatory news posting after she won the Lorena Match Play in May...she played Mizuno MP-66 irons, 4-PW. MHL has the same sticks, but the website has nothing, nada, zippo on her.

If a player is not one of their chosen few, they will tend to downplay her success. Unfortunately, most of the Korean golfers are in that group and tend to be discounted. Guaranteed that if Henderson or Thompson were #1 we'd never hear the end of it. Still, I do believe that So Yeon's best defense is a good offense. They don't give you respect? Make them do it!
