I am not Korean, and I don't pretend to understand the culture. Below is just my postulation.
From a "western" point of view, some culture in parts of Asian may seem backwards, and almost unfathomable. Actors, pop singers get caught doing recreational drugs will have to apologize and ask for forgiveness from fans, or they risk their careers. Unimaginable here in the States.
There was a famous incidence where an actor's computer got hacked and all his private sex tapes with various actresses were posted all over the internet.
So naturally he and those actresses had to apologize to the public for their "promiscuous behavior", and for his "carelessness" in handling those videos, in such the public had to be subjected to those immoral and disgusting images.
Perhaps SYR having to apologize for his father is just one of these Korean "way of life" ?

Internet trolls, unlike stalkers in the binder, are easy to deal with. JUST DO NOT READ THE COMMENTS !! If u don't want to get mugged, don't go to dark and quiet places at night. In the perfect world there is no criminals, but we don't live in one. Then the trolls win. Pretending the messages are not out there by not reading them is not a solution. If she chooses to ignore them, then their message gets out to the public unchallenged, which will give it automatically credibility among those who don't know any better, which means her reputation is sullied. She shouldn't have to put up with that. In a normal society, you can sue someone who posts scurrilous garbage about you, but it has proven hard to get at the creeps who do this online. So your only option is to not put your head in the sand but to deal with this directly.
