Ugh, Mi Hyang got stuck with Yani, who will burn up a lot time looking for her UFOs. Thanks for reminding...I was gonna post previously. Tina really did a job on Jason...with all the caddie changes with some top pros...he's still stuck with Yani......1 of 9 in full field events....he'll be looping on the Symetra tour by July.

Well I will have to put up with Yani, because it will be the perfect time to follow Mi Hyang. Because I don't do mornings and she might get paired with Kerr. on the weekend. How much is it to valet park your car at the Meijer?

Jason might be history...Laura Davies and her caddy were referring to someone named "Donnie" as being on Yani's bag at the Shop-Rite (see my report).

HappyFanIn Gee's pattern has been second, missed cut and second; she's due to miss cut again this week. I'll breathe a sigh of relief if In Gee makes the cut on Friday. That's a really unusual stretch for her, though; like the first time in her entire career. I choose to believe she will do much better this week.

No valet parking at Meijer. In Gee's dad was on the buss last year as well. You also get dropped off at the eleventh hole.

The local TV station has some news clips on Meijer (click the SPORTS link): woodtv.com/The bigger news in town is the Grand Rapids Griffins winning the American Hockey League's Calder Cup at home on Tuesday night before a sellout crowd of 10,834.

Hey philknj, your bird's eye view reports of Shop-Rite are second to none in golf reporting, let alone the LPGA. Can you please attend the US Women's Amateur, the US Men's Amateur and the Walker Cup so I don't have to bother going?

Can you please attend the US Women's Amateur, the US Men's Amateur and the Walker Cup so I don't have to bother going? No problem, as soon as my Lear Jet purchase is closed. Holy moly, I knew you had the 2017 USWA in San Diego, but I didn't know about the other two being in the LA area this year, too. You can't miss this trifecta. Don't forget about the 2018 U.S. Women's Amateur Four Ball in Tarzana, CA. Hmm...the next women's event coming up in my backyard (excluding Shop-Rite) is the 2018 Curtis Cup in Scarsdale, NY...I'll think about it. Merion will have the Curtis Cup in 2022. I was there for the 1989 US Amateur final, Chris Patton over Danny Green. Saw "Rossy", who was the on-course analyst for ABC Sports. It was impossible not to notice Patton with a series of safety pins connecting his shirt hem to his briefs...he was quite hefty back then. On a related note, the USGA is scheduling the 2018 & 2019 USWOs during the traditional Memorial Day week of the Shop-Rite/Acer. Obviously, the LPGA will have to make an adjustment, probably the week before or after. Oh yeah, the 2019 USWO will be in Charlestown, SC...about 114 miles from Columbia, SC...that's too far for MHL to sleep in her own bed that week.
