Yes, USC Trojans FIGHT ON! I know this team better than the others because four of their players were at Rolling Green GC last August (Muni, Then, Chan, & Ree), plus coach Gaston. In the team competition, 15 out of 24 will advance to the 4th round on Monday...USC is T-9 and should be good enough to do that. Here's the scoreboard, which can be adjusted for team or individual scores: results.golfstat.com/public/leaderboards/nonav.cfm?pg=participants&tid=12853This event also includes several players who qualified as single competitors. Hard to believe that one of them is a Princeton freshman, Maya Walton...shot 88. Another one is Team Canada's Maddie Szeryk (Texas A&M), who shot 76. USC is covering this one real-time and has several teams pics of "The Muni Era" here: twitter.com/USCWomensGolf

I think Maddie Szeryk played in an LPGA tournament in Texas last year. She has a smile that could light up a room.

Lousy weather wiped out the Saturday round. They'll play 18-hole medal rounds for Sunday and Monday...the top eight teams will advance to match play starting Tuesday.

philknj Are there any future Stacy Lewis or Alison Lee out there? Probably, but I haven't followed the college game closely enough to ID those people...two of the "names" are there, Andrea Lee(Stanford) and Leona Maguire(Duke). Maguire thought about turning pro last year, but The Terminator scared her out of LPGA q-school. I thought V.E. Carta of Duke was an impressive ball striker when I watched her on the range at the 2016 USWA...I don't think the 83 she shot on Friday reflects her talent.

Let's face it...if any of the top ranked NCAA were that good...they'd CONFIDENTLY attend Q-School and destroy all their wash-out competitors. As you said...they are too scared...you forgot about a frightened Hannah too (although she's yet to attend her 1st term).

philknjAre there any future Stacy Lewis or Alison Lee out there? It's likely that none of these players is a future Stacy. Most of them are future Alison Lees- they can't win on the LPGA Tour either.

It doesn't matter what Muni does at NCAA or anywhere else; she will always have more Instagram followers than any of her colleagues.

Double Entendre alert...well played, sir, well played. ************ Good day for team USC, they moved up to 7th place after Round Two. Had no idea Northwestern U. had a powerful program, they increased their first round lead from two strokes to eight strokes. I saw one of their players last August at Rolling Green, Kacie Komoto (Cyborg squashed her in 1st round match)...looks like a smaller version of the JLPGA's Yumiko Yoshida

I heard crickets and had to tap the microphone a few times, "is this thing on?"

Muni's close friend, Pepperdine's Katherine Zhu from Vancouver is an inferior golfer but is better looking and is over 18.
