That was a terrific broadcast. The par-5 16th hole with the Sagami-nada Sea on the left reminded me of the par-5 18th at Sebonack during the 2013 USWO. The course looked a little chewed up in spots off the fairways and greens, but this is a resort that must get a lot of traffic.
Everything went right for Yumiko Yoshida (6th career win)...a chip-in birdie, a long pitch shot recovery for an easy par, and a ridiculously long par-save putt at #17. Good for her, because she had five MCs in six starts prior to this event.

This was my first look at Kyoka Matsumori(left) in action...she appears to be in really good shape...probably stronger than sister Ayaka(right). Ayaka has submitted an entry for the 2017 USWO, but Kyoka has not (so far). Why? I hope someone tells Kyoka that she is ten times better as a player compared to Brittany Henderson.
