Three-way playoff at #18, a par-5 (about 540 yards) with a double green. Shi Hyun Ahn has the shortest birdie putt coming up...Gyeol Park just missed her birdie putt...Min Ji Park rolls in her birdie putt...Ahn makes her putt, so it's back to the same tee for Ahn and MJ Park.
Ahn could have won in regulation at #18, but missed a birdie putt, while Min Ji Park made her birdie putt. Gyeol Park was already in the house at -11.
Ahn hits first...down the middle. MJ Park also hit the fairway down the right side.
Park is a longer driver...has Ping gear...can't make out what Ahn is gaming...she has jumped from brand to brand.
Park was much closer to the green after her second shot and it payed off...her third shot left her maybe a five-foot putt. Ahn was about 9-10 feet away and just missed it. ACK!!! Park just gagged it...back to the tee again.

Ahn just made a mediocre third shot wedge to the edge of the green. Park, much closer to the green, just hit her third which ended up less than half the distance to the hole compared to Ahn. Cinderella's putt about two feet short...taps in for par. Park just knocked it in from about eight feet. Oh, Park's caddy guy is wearing leggings with shorts...man-up dude.
They showed a pic earlier of Park in a team threesome photo...Korean national team with Cyborg in the middle.

Park's caddie is a former pro baseball player here in Korea. Retired because of injury...walked the course with her manager yesterday. He was very confident of big things ahead, but maybe not so quickly...

So MJ Park won? Anyone have a final leaderboard (top 5 or so)?

Congratulation to Min Ji Park. She also has a big lead in the ROY race.
Shi Hyun Ahn is still competing at a high level. Four birdies on back nine, but the double bogey on thirteen hurt. However she birdied two holes after that.
Not a great tournament for Jin Young Ko. Not a bad tournament either, with an eleventh place minus four. She went out three under, but made a bogey and no birdies back nine.
Jeong Eung6 Lee followed her win with a top ten finish.

It's a shame Ahn doesn't play the LPGA. She could win here.

So do you try to attend any KLPGA event within driving distance from Seoul? A Korean woman showed me a pic with her friends attending a KLPGA event and all the women were dressed like a fashion show. So are all the Seoul driving ranges packed from 9am to midnight? I read that quite a few Koreans have only been to the range and never stepped on a golf course.

I'm a uni lecturer, golf journalist and p/t caddie. I set up that Korean Golf News site a few months ago and it keeps me very busy... I will attend KLPGA every 2nd week as I write for KPGA so must attend their events too. But next week's KLPGA event is sponsored by KFC so not missing that one... I'll say hello to Dean and Shane from this site... Live in Daejeon so close to everywhere. Yes, Korean golf attire is ridiculous and expensive. And yes the ranges are always packed...

Ha, ya judging by last week's tournament the Namdalla crew need a new player to obsess over and there's a few to pick from...expect to see a few of the rookies, as well as the regular players gaining a few extra fans throughout the season. Crowd numbers certainly not down.
