It kicks off Friday, March 17...do they wear green in Japan on this day? SBS Golf will not carry this one. Again, to avoid the cold, they are playing at Kagoshima Takamaki CC, which is further south than Jeju Island. Japan TV (local times): ■ TV Asahi Series 24 nationwide network live relay March 19th (Sunday) 13: 55 ~ 15: 20 ■ BS Asahi Live broadcast March 17 (Fri) 13: 00 ~ 15: 26 March 18 (Sat) 13: 00 ~ 15: 55 March 19th (Sunday) 13: 00 ~ 13: 55, 15: 17 ~ 16: 20 ■ CS tea morning ch2 11: 00-13: 00 (live broadcast) on March 17th (Friday), 19: 00-21: 30 (VTR) March 18 (Sat) 19: 00 ~ 21: 30 (VTR) March 19th (Sunday) 17: 30 ~ 21: 30 (VTR) ■ CS Sky A live broadcast Saturday, March 18 (Sat) 8: 00-13: 00 Sunday, March 19th (Sunday) 8: 00-13: 00 ■ Internet live broadcast LIVE delivery Every day 8: 00-16: 00 (planned)The great news is the return of the daily 8-hour webcam ( BOLD above). If it's like last year, the video will be superb and they'll have five broadcasters talking over each other and yukking it up like they're at the Waste Management Open. The link is here, which currently has a 3.5 minute sample from last year of Kaori Ohe clinching the win at the 18th hole: www.tpointladies.tv/

Hi. Do you know what Korean ladies are set to play this week on the JLPGA? Thanks www.lpga.or.jp/tournament/pairing/20172100/1The link above has the Round One tee times, but you'll have to click each name to see who they are in English. The non-Japanese names are usually easy to spot because the lettering looks significantly different. Some of the Korean tee times: First Hole8:27 AM Na Ri Lee 8:45 AM Soo Yun Kang 8:54 AM Hee Kyeong Bae 9:57 AM Bo Mee Lee Sun Ju Ahn Mi Jeong Jeon Tenth Hole8:18 AM Min Young Lee Yeo Jin Kang 9:48 AM Chae Young Yoon JY Shin is out of action and Ha Neul Kim is skipping this one. Once the tournament starts, the full online leader board will have a button that will show everyone in English. ************ Monday birthday for Min Young Lee...by my count, she is 25 (born 1992), but it's true that she's starting her 26th year. https://www.instagram.com/p/BRkvzbiBk9G

www.tpointladies.tv/Just turned on the webcam (above) and it's working great. I expected to see the 1st hole, but they're showing the 2nd hole instead. If they stay there, the next group coming through should include SY Kang. Shoko Sasaki is wearing US stars and stripes again.

I've always loved the look of the courses in Japan. Dormant dry conditions right now...I always thought Japan had plenty of rain.

I've always loved the look of the courses in Japan. Dormant dry conditions right now...I always thought Japan had plenty of rain. It's the rough that dormant, which gives the fairways a nice visual frame. I think the Korean courses look the same way now. Apparently the Irish have no juice in Japan...Ai Suzuki and Ayaka Watanabe are two players wearing green, but not many others. There seems to be a racetrack effect down the left side of the 2nd fairway. Hikari Fujita is one of the few who hit it past the marked crosswalk...or should credit go to the Epic driver? Bo Mee Lee will be teeing off next at #2 in a couple of minutes.

My usual picture source isn't posting any images yet...too bad, the outfit Bo Mee has on cannot be described, must be seen...of course she looks great in it. Made a terrific par save from fairway bunker at #2. Two cuties (Hori, Aoki) are on the second hole and two more (Ayaka M. and Kozuma) will hit next.

The webcam has switched over to the 9th hole, so if you missed anyone at #2, you'll see them again soon.

The webcam has 2.5 hours left to run tonight, but no way am I staying up to the end. Kotono Kozuma just made a knee-knocker par putt at #12 to remain at -5, three shots off the lead. Kagoshima is her home town and a big performance will help her tour status. She's grouped with Sun Ju Ahn. They had minimal coverage of Bo Mee Lee...but, saw the opening tee shot of Chae Young Yoon at #1; while focused on Yoon, the broadcasters mentioned "Ahn Shin Ae" once and "Park Gyeol" several times. Does Park want to play the JLPGA?
