Tosa CC is roughly on the same latitude as Jeju Island, so it won't be bitterly cold...forecast is 59 - 62F Fri. thru Sun. Thursday prep: Bo Mee Lee Ha Neul Kim has her SKY bag Would a PGA Tour event have this many gear vans? They usually have only two at the Seaview for the LPGA. Wednesday: Team PRGR...even the male pros were required to show up...JLPGAers (L-R in first photo) are Rie Tsuji, Asako Fujimoto, Rikako Morita, and Erina Hara

Yup...the LPGA is minor league compared to the JLPGA. That's a lot of tour vans.
I've only seen a generic tour van in Portland....I wasn't in the back areas at Sahalee or the CWO's to see if tour vans were there

No TV coverage until Round 2, so we'll have to settle for pix. Early Round One: Serena Aoki has the same shovels sticks as Winbee and is in 2nd place at -3 thru nine holes...Rumi Yoshiba is E thru nine. Mi Jeong Jeon and Chie Arimura

Kotone Hori is -1 through 9, same as yesterday. She needs a better finish than yesterday.

K. Hori would need a bad collapse to miss the cut, which will probably be at +1. Serena Aoki is tied for first...a pack of chasers has closed the gap. Team PRGR is embarrassing the front office...Fujimoto is on the cut line, while Hara, Morita, and Tsuji are over it. A few pix before I go into blackout mode for the broadcast later: How would you like to face these obstacles down the right side of a fairway? I hope the stuff around the tree trunks is a waste area so you can ground your club. Chie Arimura made a disastrous triple on her first nine holes...will need a miracle to see Sunday. If she never wins again, it won't be due to a lack of fitness. Ayaka Matsumori, BML, and Na Ri Lee

I couldn't find a Japanese link that had the golf, but SBS Golf came through...they're showing their first replay now here: livetvkorea.weebly.com/sbs-golf1.htmlUnfortunately, I don't see a button to expand the screen. Kotone Hori (+1) barely survived; she needs to pick up her games.

Speaking of picking up her game. Sakura Yokomine seems to have lost her game. She seem to be falling farther and farther away from competing. She is only thirty one and have, I believe over twenty JLPGA victories. Maybe being short off the tee is hurting players on JLPGA tour as well. So I guess she tried to add more length that didn't work out that for her.
