Best player on the planet since last summer. Golf-industrial complex is obviously trying to suppress the information. Not just IGC...all you Yanks hate the Chinese....the Smiling Buddha is the only one who mentions her name. Shanshan needs to copy the BEEF and hand out egg rolls to the fans and post lots of dim sum Instagram pics. I looked up her record in Wikipedia...just as I suspected: in almost all of her world-wide wins the SS Feng steams into some distant foreign port and shells a limited field and/or mediocre competition into rubble. The best fields and toughest golf courses are in USA and Canada events, but she has only two wins in nine years for those locations. Her driving isn't spectacular, but her iron play is CRAZY good...she almost holed one out from the fairway in Round One. Her putting is pretty good, especially when are irons are peppering the flags. She needs to hang out with Muni He more, which will get her some positive spillover from the media. I just went into the Archives and confirmed that I saw her as a rookie at the 2008 Sybase...she rolled in a 25-footer for birdie to start her 2nd round at #10 (played with Irene Cho and Simi Mehra). She was a little heavy then, but that was nothing compared to now.

I'm not looking for where In Gee finishes right now. I'm looking for how many birdies. She'll peak for a few majors and have all the birds but none of the bogies.

I like Mi Jung's boyfriend. He has his hands full. I hope he's at ANA, I'll introduce myself and suggest he should never tuck his trousers into his boots. Being Korean is not an excuse.

No one needs to bother checking their DVR from this morning: play was halted due to lightning at 12:39pm local, 21 minutes before the TV window, and eventually suspended for the rest of the day at 3:45pm after heavy rain rendered the course unplayable. Thanks to a 55 minute stoppage stoppage earlier in the day the last few groups off both 1 and 10 have yet to start their 2nd rounds. Play is set to resume at 7:00am local on Saturday.

Mi Hyang broke out of jail with her Cally GBB Epic Sub Zero driver...now -2 thru eight holes of Round Two. She's currently playing with MJ and The Hulk. Here we go again with Charley's flying aviator glasses...ideally, they should fall on a tee block and shatter into a hundred pieces.

In Gee is far from a well oiled machine this week; but the swing and occasional brilliance are there. It behooves her to use the next 2 days for real time rehearsal and practice for the rest of the year.

Can they play 3 rounds in 2 days? They need to hope there won't be more weather delays.
It's good for both of them that In Gee and Lydia are guaranteed to play 3 rounds together.

Wow, people are giving up on In Gee awfully quickly! She's only four back, and it's quite possible she will have nearly three full rounds to move into position. This kind of reminds me of her first start last year. She was a tiny bit shaky in Florida at first, but eventually rallied and made a run at the title, finishing third. From what I can see, the ingredients are all there, she needs to reduce the silly mistakes and she's good to go. Meanwhile, when play stopped we had a bunch of great Sisters near the top. Amy, Sei Young and Minjee haven't started yet (Amy tied for the lead). Ha Na has made a nice move and is only two back. So are So Yeon and Eun Hee Ji. Still so much time left (unless they make it a three rounder, and even then, tons of players right in this. Remember how last week Ha Na managed to grab the win while hovering about this far back most of Sunday). Inbee is a bit off, but she just needs to work on getting back into the flow. If it doesn't happen this week, it will soon enough. Go Sisters!!!!

Hmmm, I found these on the web. The dates show 2017, but I have a feeling they might be from last year's Honda. These must be from last year; Q Baek isn't in the field this year. It's fun to see how Inbee and So Yeon adopted Q as a little sister. She was also in those pix from last December of them attending a film preview (KLPGA player Ji Hyun Oh was also in the clique).

It's a limited field event, so they should be able to finish the 2nd round, and possibly the 3rd round on Saturday, barring any further weather delays.
