I'm sure a tour pro would get the clubs bent to standard lofts. I believe Luke Donald is now bagging the 900 Tours. Keep in mind that the 900 Tour and 900 Forged are two different models. You're probably right. The Rocket is too sweet to throw a fan under the bus. Fanofseri, you going to be around tomorrow afternoon? I'm in Newport Beach. I'm heading to Mesquite in mid-April. It's a bit too much old there in February. I'm going to visit my Mom tomorrow. Thank you for asking. Very nice. I hope the weather breaks for you. Are you playing North or South course? I've only played South, but I liked it a lot.

It's a bit too much old there in February. My comment on the 900 Forged meant they are a bit chunky.....a long face/blade. Yes...I know there are 3 models in the JPX 900's series....the Hot Metal (shovels/ugly), the Forged and then the Tours. I'm not surprised HYP hasn't upgraded yet...I don't think Ms. Pouty Face has upgraded neither. Lydia never gamed the most recent model of the Apex Pro's. Oooops...my bad...I meant the MP 25's not the MX 25's...the MP 25's are the more forgiving baby brother of the MP 5's....I've seen a few combo MP 5 & 25 bags up here. Gonna play tomorrow and then with rain on Sun we are headed to our golf show....there's a special...buy a coupon book we normally buy anyways and they offer basically 2 free adm tix. Cally, TM and surprisingly Adams are the only OEM's...will hit a few balls with the Epic. Hope to pick up a few green fee coupons...the Smiling Buddha will suck up to some who hide 2 for 1 vouchers in their pockets. I'm sure I'll see a bunch of familiar face posers....hopefully the Korean hotties in knee highs show up.

Mark Wallington is on Amy Boulden's bag...so is he looping as a last minute thing cause Amy got a last minute invite and Mark has a LPGA bag waiting for him in Thailand. If indeed he's Amy's new loop...I'm surprised he can't find a good LPGA bag and slumming it on the LET.
I'm a bad Canuck...I rarely watch the Cdn gals play....I'm not racist like some here who only root and watch by nationality....lol. Tonyj always tells me I need to watch LeBlanc smash it..yet I never have. WTF....LeBlanc has a 12 yr old boy on the bag...I guess she's cheap....his remuneration is a signed ball and glove and a dog and Coke at the turn. I thought LeBlanc would have a loopy wild swing....she's got a pretty tight swing for a tall gal.

Go Porna! I don't like her black leggings....beige/tan please. OK...who here is man enough to say they could beat Hedwall in an arm wrestling match....not me. I'd luv to see Caro munch Kerr in the parking lot in Des Moines....Ole Ole. Lizette will be YUGE when she's 40...it's a shame and health risk...kinda surprised she can't keep it off walking so much....but she might use a cart when she practices...would Diana dare group Lizette, Jenny Money and Winbee in the USWO...remember when the USGA paired the Jumbo's at the USO...was it not DeJonge who got really upset...or was it another major....BEEF would lap it up...the guy is so COOL. Will Lizette and Gaby boycott the USWO this year?....if they do...we won't know if it's FAKE news. I guess Jenny Money got Xi Yu Lin Buick on her hat....no more Cally....I like Janet...I root more for the China gals more than the Canucks including Brooke and my passport looks like this: vs.

Three brilliant posts in a row. You have too much time on your hands. The wife is away visiting the grandsons, the dog is just chillin...but will want to go out for a walk later, the golf is kinda boring so I'm surfing the net while golf is on in the background...we have no Blue Dolphin here.

$500 for two rounds at Pelican Hill tapped me out. I'll catch it on my next trip out here. Ouch.....would you like to donate to The Smiling Buddha golf fund.....we are using a 2 for 1 tomorrow....$22.50 green fee...but it's not worth spending big bucks up here in the winter slop conditions. I can't remember the last time I shelled out over $100 for a green fee. I'll wait until twilight for the upscale places....or use some discount sites.....e.g....used ezlinks when we went to the Big Island and Maui and got green fees well under $100...there are very few deals on Golfnow up here....Golfnow is lame here. I've played my share of $175 type courses but fortunately on corporate shindigs....so not out of my pocket. When I do cross Bandon off my bucket list it will be in the winter....$275/rd in the summer is over my pay scale....that would be $375 Cdn...ouch. Pelican is pretty sweet looking....ENVIOUS......no wonder you weren't upset when Dumbo threw away your $50 head cover at O'Hare.

I think Natalie is in Scottsdale. Otherwise, A69 could get a picture at Pelican Hill. It might be worth going up to Trump. Getting a pic with another US Open champ would be quite a coup. I thought Natalie was in Las Vegas. Gulbis has two residents in Cali and Vegas...though Cali might have been Josh's original residence. If she's in Scottsdale.....she's doing some kiss and cry event. Oh ya...you should do Gulf Shores if you have not done so....we really enjoyed it...great value...beaches are pristine....but bring your wife there. RTJ TRail is too much driving....I also had a blast in Myrtle Beach when we went as a group...also great value.

I'm sure I'll see a bunch of familiar face posers....hopefully the Korean hotties in knee highs show up. The Northcoast Golf & Travel Show made its annual visit to NJ last weekend. I went on Friday and for the $11 admission fee, I was able to renew my free Golf magazine subscription for another year. Plus, I picked up one free green fee/cart to Royce Brook GC (good thru March 10) in exchange for attending a presentation by club instructor Warren Raatz. I hit a few demo clubs into a net with no swing monitor...only for the exercise, as I haven’t touched a stick in months. TM’s 2017 M2 25* hybrid with stock ‘R’ shaft had a nice feel. Former world long drive champion Brian Pavlet was there, as usual...had some good stuff to say, maybe it will sink in one day. He plays Ping gear and likes the Pro V1x when he plays regular golf. I chatted up the pro from the Shawnee Resort in PA and renewed my e-mail with him. He had coupons for a free greens fee (but must pay $25 for cart). I wanted to play there last year and never got around to it...I’ll try this year. Shawnee has some history to it and I’ve never played the Poconos before. I need to research the availability of cheap shacks in that area for lodging. I didn’t buy anything...it was mostly the same vendors in the same floor locations. My favorite was a Korean guy from Virginia who had some exotic goodies on display...Volvik staff bag ($275)…Fourteen Golf staff bag ($300+)...and an ultra-cool Beres (Honma) staff bag (price unknown). He had the clubhead only for a Fourteen Golf HI877 hybrid and wanted $200...at least it came with a matching yellow vinyl headcover. Most of the vendors had Volvik balls, but I think he was the only one with boxes of the Volvik Vibe...too much at $35, but I should have asked if he sold sleeves...I'd like to try one. Lastly, he had a Honma 727P 3-Star iron set (5 thru 10) w/ stock ‘R’ graphite shafts for $2,100 (plus NJ sales tax). I examined one of them...couldn’t get a good feel for it as the grip was shrink-wrapped...and, yes, it did feel small.

I'll never make it to Myrtle Beach, but wish I had. You should play in Southern Calif. next time

I watched about ten minutes of round 3, just enough to see Ha Na and Su Oh finish their sensational rounds. I just couldn't stay motivated to watch Hedwall, Salas and co, though. At least tomorrow there will be a few gals I like right up there with a great chance to win this. If Salas wins tomorrow, it will mean the US will match their win total from last year before the end of February. Pretty amazing. But of course I'm rooting for Su Oh to pull off the win in front of her home crowd. She'll be really nervous, but she's coming off a strong week, so who knows? Go Su! Ha Na and Nomura are close enough to make a run with a good start, especially if the conditions stay tough Sunday. I wonder if Hye Jin Choi will make the coverage? At 3 under, she might be a bit too far back to win (not impossible, but unlikely). But a top five is definitely doable. I won't mention Mi Hyang Lee again today, out of deference to her fans... Ah, OK, too bad about her struggles... Go Sisters!!!

Olafia Kristinsdottir (-2) and Dana Finkelstein (E) lead LPGA rookies; they are T23 and T35 respectively.
With Laura Gonzalez Escallon and Mel Reid missing the cut, Nelly Korda most likely will retain her ROY lead.

I'll call them shortly, and adjust as necessary.

Wah? Black leggings FTW. Go Porna!
I've played along the Gulf Coast, including The Mobile and Biloxi area. Very nice courses. The RTJ Trail courses are also excellent.
I usually don't have a lot of price flexibility on these trips. I try to snag a discount if it fits in my schedule, but I'll pay full rate if necessary. I did manage a $125 rate at Aviara, and "75 at The Crossings. Not too bad.
