Ron is so right. Mannika was never a GREAT putter...but learned to be a good putter. Amy sank her last putt when it didn't count...when the same opportunity came...Mannika often missed those putts and didn't finish it off like a 'champ' Mannika will always have an * by her wins because of the JUICE.
I think So Yeon was actually better than Amy tee to green this week. But Amy was far superior with the flat stick. She had a complete confidence on the greens that So Yeon only showed in fits and starts.
Perhaps Amy only wins in Asia because there is something about the greens there that allows her to shine? I honestly don't know if the grasses are different between Asia and most American courses.

In most hot areas..... the grass is predominately bermuda....putting on the bermuda is different with quite a bit of grain. Playing on bermuda fairways and rough is unique too if you're not use to it.
You need to become a REAL golf fan and watch the men's tour...at the REAL Honda event...you would have seen English pro, Tyrrell Hatton, chunk a 80 yard approach shot maybe only 60 yards......he wasn't use to playing on bermuda and when it's rich black soil underneath...ya really need to pick the ball cleaner.
In the US....there are all kinds of playing surfaces...fescue, poa anna, bermuda, rye grass, bent grass, etc...all play unique.
Too many gals are mental midgets requiring loops to line them up. This is just one of many proposed rule changes that .....if successful...won't be implemented until Jan 1/2019....slow pokes. Quit whining and just play....it's 22 months away.
They changed the rule that loops can't line you up and stay there while the stroke was made a while ago...ya don't hear any whining about that anymore....by Jan 1/2017....all of these changes will be mute points. Ya don't hear anything nowadays on anchoring neither.
