I saw a guy at the range today with the Srixon 965's....boy they are so sweet looking...simply stunning in real life...we started chatting and he let me hit a few shots....they had TT DG S300's. I know it's an oxymoron....but I'd say these could be GI blades. These were pretty forgiving for a 'blade'. Demo a set if you guys/gals ever get a chance. I watched a Mark Crossfield vid last night...Mark said the 965's have a long face...now I know what he's talking about. I laid my JPX 825 Pro's side by side with the 965 with 5 irons.....the 965's had the ever so slight shorter face with a thinner top line. Yes those Srixons are beautiful. Why don't you go to ANA this year? Parsons will let a big shot like you demo his clubs. You can hit them and watch HYP warm up for her round 35 yards to your left.

As of April 2016, Kotono Kozuma was bagging a 2014 set of Z545s. Maybe she needs to upgrade to get her full-time JLPGA card back.

I forgot you mentioned that PXG had a demo at the ANA last year. Was it busy?...why didn't you demo some...when else would you have the opportunity to demo them? LPGA galleries are tame....I doubt PXG would set up a demo at a PGA event...gotta believe all the MASHED POTATO tools would wreck the clubs. So do you see the niche Japanese OEM clubs at the mom and pop golf stores in LA....I doubt the large box retailers carry JDM stuff. As much as I like the LPGA....I'm not hopping on a plane to watch golf....EXCEPT...if I win the Masters tix lotto...then I'll head to Augusta. If I'm hopping on a a plane .....it's to play golf. I've only been to PS for 2 1/2 days in 2009 to attend a wedding...played Desert Princess the morning of the wedding. Yes...it was a short trip...but PS was pretty ugly....a real eye sore as you fly in and see all the wind mills....maybe a lot nicer near La Quinta...but never got to tour around. Bandon is my bucket list golf tip...just need to coordinate with some guys. Surprisingly.....the library has Dream Golf - The Making of Bandon.....it's interesting but I'm having a hard time getting through it before I have to return it.

It is not like a demo day. PXG gives you the once over and immediately knows if you are wasting their time. It looked like they had a few people trying out the clubs at all times. I didn't pay much attention. They have the hitting area kind of blocked off.
I think the Coachella Valley is pretty nice. Desert Princess looks like a dump. It is in the wind belt. You'd probably like it more if you played some courses in La Quinta in the middle of March when it is 75 degrees.

OK...before I forget...I don't recognize the logo on Ko's left chest. You can see it below, but WTH does it say? It looks like MCKAISON, which I can't find via yahoo or google. https://www.instagram.com/p/BO0mTxBjgTX BTW, Ko must be nuts to drop her two-ball putter. That of course would be McKayson, the new title sponsor of the New Zealand Women's Open. From the event's website:

Ya.....Mackayson....I figured it out last night and forgot to post it....but it was difficult to get much info on the MCS holding company. Ko did drain two 8 ft putt on MD yesterday using the Gunboat....not sure if there were any re-takes. The Gunboat is the most similar PXG putter to the 2 ball...I think the biggest think to get use to will be the weight difference and hot the ball reacts off the Gunboat's face. I've gotta believe Titleist is the main contender for ball replacement and then maybe a switch to Bridgestone or Srixon based on what kind of money Tina can grease up. Bubba s*cked the petty cash out of Volvik.

You know about clubs......just act the part and you can fool anyone....and hopefully you don't show up in a wife beater, cargo shorts and white socks with golf sandals. Ask for a 9 iron to start and don't hit anything longer than a 7 iron and ask the guy if you can try out a KBS Tour in regular....then they'll know you're not a poser. And ask if he's one on the Ping recruits. Ya....the Desert Princess course was nothing special....but we played there cause we all stayed at the Desert Princess and the wedding took place there....the facilities themselves were good enough. It was a whirlwind trip. I had just come back from a biz trip from Toronto.....when home and then used my flyer points...so I had a stopover in Vegas en route to PS. Got in at night...had some libations with all the wedding attendees. Woke up the next morning...played golf with 7 other guys.....had lunch...then a bunch of us headed to the outlet mall on the highway to LA. I bought a really nice Hugo Boss single breast navy blue suit for only $225...what a deal.....navy blue suits never go on sale. Attended the wedding that night...next morning...had breakfast...hit some balls on the range and then caught my plane home.

In other recent news, the Ben Hogan golf company is in the Intensive Care Unit. Expect no help from staffer Casey Grice (PTx irons), who bombed out of Stage 3 q-school in December.

The new Hogan irons are very pretty. Too bad. I will get the Ping i200's in the future.

Still can't believe how Hogan, Wilson, MacGregor and Ram lost their golf presence. I think one would be hard pressed to find a golfer from the 60's 70's or 80's who didn't game one of these brands.

Lydia looks super in orange. She'll make everything she looks at with that PXG putter.
