My understanding is that Jin Young Ko hired Herden with the understanding that he would prepare her for the LPGA, and would follow her there when she joined. He really hasn't caddied all that much in Korea; just for Jiyai Shin when she was starting out, and this year.
That's why I'm a bit surprised that Ko didn't leave this year. I wonder if the KLPGA gave her an incentive to stay? (Total conspiracy theory follows): they knew they were going to lose Sung Hyun Park, and Ko is the one genuine top flight player left. If she had also gone, it might have been rough sledding for the KLPGA next year (especially if they also lose Shin Ae Ahn and Chae Young Yoon to Japan as might happen).

I keep on asking but no one will confirm. I believe Dean is married to a Korean....maybe why he wants to loop in the Pac Rim. I hope Dumbo asked Lampshade to loop for her in 2016.....if she didn't...... it was a terrible mistake. The KLPGA needs to step it up and raise the purses...otherwise everyone will exit for the JLPGA or LPGA....and the KLPGA will be no better than the Symetra. They need to hire BJ as commish...his days of micromanaging MW and tagging along on tour are coming to an end soon as MW continues to fall down the Rolex Ranking's.
