My wife played womens golf in high school and she doesn't know the difference between a pitch and a chip. Seriously. She was the captain of the team.Women's golf coaching is a joke except at the elite level. Granted that was 20 years ago. LMAO.
So what cap does you wife play to?...can she beat you? I thought you are an old fart...sound like your wife is 38 years old....are you some rich Sugar Daddy with a trophy arm candy wife?...if yes...you're my HERO. I go by an old fart name like Don so I can get instant credibility. Nobody likes a Millennial. My wife hits it 210. If the red tees are the right distance she can beat me. She's got no idea what's going on tho. More than a bogey and I have to count her strokes 1/2 the time. Speaking of women's golf I took our two lady friends I've been teaching to play to a big course last week. We had to play alternate shot to keep the herd moving. Disaster. Everybody should have to try to teach an adult to golf once. It's impossible. It's not the swing it's like do I tell this lady to move her shadow for the 3rd time? ? Better not.

Why doesn't the Golf Channel quit worrying about who is on the LPGA Tour? Instead, get some multilingual reporters and commentators and enhance the current coverage. The existing staff should be re-assigned to cover the progress of the Americans on the Symetra Tour and various college teams. It is kind of inexcusable, given the Asian presence on tour, that Golf Channel does not have a single Asian or Asian American commentator. What's Pearl Sinn doing now? Would love to get Grace Park, although she's probably not going to leave Korea any time soon. Do you remember Pearl Sinn being hired by GC about eight to ten years ago? She was introduced as a new course reporter at the start of one tournament, and vanished after that event.

Right...I remember seeing her now that you bring it up.....another Korean that choked away an opportunity. Covering a Cali event or maybe a US Women's Am event? Phil...I can't believe how you can remember stuff......now let's all try to recall which event she covered. How about washed out Kellie Khhene (sp?) as an on course reporter. Let's name other washout GC LPGA event personalities Beth Daniel Vicki Goetze ??

I think you're a bit too old to be a Millennial....Millennials are SOFT. 210 is HUGE for a gal....that's too funny she knows jacksh*t about golf. I bet you also act as her caddy too...if she hits it into the creek....I bet you go down to retrieve it...not her...... and I bet you clean and polish her golf shoes...not her....been there done that. Are the 2 women you teach hawt?....I've got to believe yes....I can't see any REAL man volunteering their time unless a gal is eye candy...nuff said.

Would love to get Grace Park, although she's probably not going to leave Korea any time soon. In the early 90's at the Safeco Classic....an Asian all dressed in black...turtleneck and pants walks by...I say to my friend....who the heck is she?....look at my pairing sheet...Pearl Sinn...so we did some fanboying for a few holes. In 1994...my friend says....let's follow this Swede walking by...I say who is that?...my friend replies....Mannika. I guess most of my fanboying in those days evolved around Jan Stephenson....nuff said....ok...ok...I also discovered Jackie Gallagher Smith at the Safeco too. Yes...Grace would be great on GC. Let's not forget about Yani or Ai-Chan. Ai and Ya Ni are still playing, but how about finding one of the retired Korean American golfers? Jenny Suh? Jeanne Cho? Irene Coe? Jimin Kang? Jeehae Lee? Hana Kim? Angela Park would be a good; I'm sure she'd enjoy commentating more than fluffing pillows. Kim Kim? If you argue that they were not superstars, I'd reply that neither were Paige McKenzie or Stephanie Sparks.

Since most of the sponsors of the LPGA are Asian. Also a number of tournaments are played in Asia. I wonder how many US players on the LPGA tour can speak even a little of their languages. However that doesn't stop the Asian fans from cheering for them.
It's a shame that the players English speaking ability. Is used as an excuse for not liking them. Just write the real reason that you don't like them.

I think it was on ESPN, which might explain why we don't see her, given that ESPN does not cover much women's golf anymore. As for Pearl not being good enough? If they were willing to put up with Stupples and her endless coming-up-to-speed (or heaven help us, Mary Bryant), they could have committed to Pearl learning as she goes.

Another thing that occurs to me. How many articles have we read in the various American golf magazines about Michelle Wie? It seems like her every move is dissected relentlessly. And even she is nothing compared to the overcoverage the top male golfers get.
OK, but when Inbee Park qualified for the Hall of Fame and won the Olympic gold medal this year, did we get even one article about her? Not just about her triumph in Rio, but an article that profiles her, that tells us about her history, who she is, how she got so good, anything? I didn't find it. I didn't even find a mention of her in either Golf Digest or Golf Magazine after Rio.
I understand. She isn't glamorous. She doesn't move the needle or whatever. But she is news. She is history. If you aren't even going to cover the best Koreans, what are the other Koreans to expect? And how can we get to know them if the golf press refuses to do its job?
(almost everything I wrote about Inky came from TWO profiles the Golf Channel did on her a few years back. They showed her in a pretty dress dancing and playing guitar and talking about her life and herself. They showed her doing yoga and enjoying her life in San Diego. THAT's what I'm talking about!)
Here's one of those two profiles:

Sure they love to put up historical statistics comparing Lydia with Young Tom Morris and stuff like that but it really is just lip service. Their indifference is plain as day to anyone who actually cares about the sport. When three or four talking heads are sitting around pretending to discuss women's golf and they keep saying stuff like "area joo-tan-yoo-garn"... the lights are on but nobody's home.

This is why Stacy Lewis is treasured by The Golf Channel and the public.

Angela Park would be a good; I'm sure she'd enjoy commentating more than fluffing pillows. Kim Kim? 2) If you argue that they were not superstars, I'd reply that neither were Paige McKenzie or Stephanie Sparks. 1) Jeanne Cho of Big Break fame....YES PLEASE....I met and chatted her up at the 2007 CWO in Edmonton Irene Coe,,,,blah....I'm still mad at her...she knew of Erica Blasberg's troubles and kept silent....shame on her....RIP Erica. Jimin Kang.....too fake.....a student of The Pink Diva, Xtina and MW's acting class. JeeHae Lee...attractive enough but super snobby....so NO. Hana Kim...yes...eye candy Angela Park..does she get to wear her Marriott uniform in the booth? 2) Hmmmmm....more reverse Merican racism from Happyfan...more hatred on the whitety's.

Wow...18 years ago and the Mericans did nothing......like everything else American...they need to outsource their women's golf coaching to Korea....namely Se Ri's new robot factory.
