All but two scores decreased as Carlota tumbled out of the lead and Candie led an exodus from the Table. Scores were still decent as all but two golfers in the Table were selected.
Cannuck was hurt most by Candie and some less popular selections leaving the top twelve. Thursday he had seven selections but without Carlota and Karine he was eighth. Friday he lost four of those seven without picking up anyone new and is now keeping LPGA Ireland company in the basement at the halfway mark.
Gaby is making a bid to be the teacher's pet, as Cindy was one of just four to select the Mexican phenom to sit alone with seven selections, increase her score and move to the head of the class.
First, my apologies to ghinhee for completely missing out on the fact that he had Angela on his card. The Standings and the narrative have been edited appropriately.
Everyone's scores increased as Carlota moved back up and Candie moved back in. That provided some separation between our two current bottom feeders as our man in Dublin is again alone in last. It also gave Cindy an eighth selection to remain on top, although ghinhee closed the gap considerably at the last interval.
Cindy lost her advantage when Gaby dropped out of the Table, and even with Pornanong squeaking in on Sunday nine PakPickers lost points on the day. Ghinhee was one of those nine but by the hair of his chinny chin chin he hung on for the win this week by a mere half point over a surging shung, who in turn edged out olamin by half a point. They led the half dozen among us who had eight scoring selections, and in the case of those three they were the same eight players so an examination of the scorecards is in order:
Last week's winner cannuck has the dubious distinction of being I believe the second contestant this year to go from the penthouse to the outhouse. He was alone in not selecting Carlota, nor did he pick Karine or Angela.
