After an unexpected break I will try to keep a closer eye on the deadline this week, especially since I'm setting it.
The ladies move on to Kuala Lumpur for the Sime Darby. As always, your top 12 along with up to three alternates needs to be submitted no later than Wednesday 26 October at 2345GMT/7:45pmEDT/4:45pmPDT. Good luck!www.lpga.com/tournaments/sime-darby-lpga-malaysia/final-fieldKevin

Fourteen contestants this week (did we lose somebody?) collectively selected 27 of the 78 players in the field. Four were chosen by everyone and each factored in the scoring at some point during the weekend: Shanshan, Ha Na, Ariya and Jessica.
Thursday saw just six of the thirteen golfers in the Table appear on anyone's cards. Two led with five selections apiece: cannuck was alone in picking Tutta but he trailed yours truly, one of two who took a flyer on Michelle.Meesh began her slide down the leaderboard and Tutta briefly left the Table on Friday, yet cannuck and I remain on the podium at the halfway mark. Leapfrogging over us, however, was the Saint, alone in tabbing Candie. Everyone's scores went up with Ha Na more than making up for Ariya's absence. The top five were among the seven who picked Anna while the two at the bottom were among the trio who neglected to include Amy.Everyone's scores kept climbing as the predictable appearance in the Table of Lydia on moving day, along with defending champion Jessica, put more points in play. Everyone had at five scoring selections with the top three continuing a game of musical chairs. This time around it is cannuck coming back to his with an extra plate from the buffet: a staggering nine scoring selections put him in front when the third round finally concluded Sunday morning. Despite losing Meesh I remained in second thanks to So Yeon and my unique choice of the Rocket. Alone in not selecting the world #1, the Saint leads the peloton into the final sprint....and the Saint had a spectacular fall in that final sprint, as losing Candie hurt him dearly; with just five scoring selections he cops yet another wooden spoon. All but one of us lost points thanks largely to Lydia, Ha Na and Jessica falling into a tie for 12th. GD Smyth was the happy exception, escaping the basement thanks to Charley, MJ and Carlota. Cannuck remained atop the heap by a comfortable margin to claim this week's title. My next and last tournament of the season as scorer is in two weeks at Lorena's place. The Verdant one has opened the page for this week's three-day event in Japan.Kevin
