Saying Asian players winning is not good for the LPGA baffles me.Your taking one sentence out of a paragraph. What I am saying is American's winning just 2 of 27 tournaments is not good for the tour. I thought the reason people watch golf is to see great golfers compete.Yes, you are correct, that is the way it should be. That is why I stay up into 4:00 am. To watch the best the players compete. Unfortunately that is not the way most look at it. Go back and look at the threads on here on tournaments when "Seoul Sisters" are not in contention. Don't want to bring any other posters names into this but, I read over and over "Didn't bother to watch final round as no sisters were in contention." "Not a good week for the sisters, didn't bother to watch the final 2 rounds." No matter how the LPGA tries to spin it. ratings are not good this year (The U.S Open was an exception). Golf Channel would rather broadcast repeat showings of the Seniors Tour than to show LPGA live. The PGA tour doesn't seem to have any problems with players from other countries winning.Because Americans still win more than their share of tournaments there. Maybe the Golf Chanel needs to help promote the tour by not showing the same people over and over.Agreed! Then people can see how good the other players are and maybe become a fan.In a perfect world, Yes. Another note Canada is a part of the America Continent. So they can also be called Americans.Does that mean you just gave us Brooke? Thanks.....I'll take her! To sum up: I think you know darn well why I got upset and posted what I did. I am huge LPGA fan and love the sport. I put in a lot of time without being paid a penny to promote the ladies. They deserve better. When I read the same person, post after post, bashing Americans ("a bunch of white women") now we should be calling players from other countries by the color of their skin?, Bashing the LPGA, Fake this, Fake that, it drives me crazy. Maybe that was his point all along, to do just that. I love this tour. I love watching all the players. I enjoy reading positive posts. Let's talk about how great these players are. We don't need all the other Bull....t. At least not over and over again by the same poster. Just a few comments. 1. Again I want to remind everyone that I don't want political comments/discussions on this forum. I don't feel like having to police people for this, I'm just asking you to respect my wishes and stop with the digs/compliments about Trump (or Hillary, but Trump seems to get more of it), unless they are specifically related to golfing activities (again, this applies more to Trump, who is quite involved with the sport). Whatever it is intended as, it encourages other people to want to argue about it, and it isn't fair if I just let it be one sided either, so desist. Thanks! 2. I also would like to make a request that we tone down the bashing. I for one am not a fan of trolling people to try to get a reaction. We have plenty of lively discussions around here without the need for that. 3. I realize some of the above comments are probably directed at me, so I would like to respond. I'm a fan of this league, but I am definitely someone who has rooting interests and enjoys watching much more when players I like are in the hunt for the trophy. (there are enough events each year that I don't feel the need to watch every single round, especially if the field is less interesting or the leaders are not interesting to me. A break every once in a while is a good thing!). I also tend to like it more when it's close, unless it's a favorite who hasn't won in a while, in which case I'll take that win any way it comes. I don't see why it's essential to be a fan of every player in order to be considered a true fan, but whatever. And to be honest, there are fewer than half a dozen players I really don't like, so that's a better batting average than most other sports I've followed through the years (if you think I'm bad with Kerr, you should hear what I used to say about Dennis Rodman!) One more question: do you all think the Fake this and Fake that stuff has outlived its welcome? If so, I will make a Friendly Recommendation to the Commentariat that we retire it.

HF, you should rename SeoulSisters.com to PyongyangSisters.com. Oops, sorry, no political reference.

I will exercise Section 2 in the Canadian Charter of Rights and will use FAKE in perpetuity.....thank you for respecting my rights. Or if you consider me a FAKE Yank...I'll exercise the 1st amendment....thank you.

Different people follow the LPGA, and post on message boards for different reasons. For me it is:
1, To pursue my lifelong goal of marrying Michelle.
2, To listen to the greatest commentator in the history of golf broadcast.
3, To spot and ridicule the ladies with extensive plastic surgery.
4, To speculate and gossip on the sexual orientation, and dating lives of the players.
Can someone tell me , am I following women's golf with the "right attitude" ? If not, then what constitutes the "proper" attitude ?

A few comments re this discussion:
Totally agree with keeping politics out of golf threads.
Totally agree with toning down the bashing. I commented a year or two ago that I was surprised at the negative tone this site had taken on. "A bit of fun" to one is numbingly redundant to another. Surely one could be clever without the same boring digs over and over. So often it's more than 'nuff said.
And 'less is more' should be the thinking when applying 'fake' to a post. Show some imagination!

What bothers me the most that people disrespecting these golfers. So what if people want to get plastic surgery to make themselves more appealing. It's no one else business. Cosmetics brings in billions of dollars just because of that fact. People spend a lot of time in gyms buy expensive clothes and several other ways, to make themselves look better. My point is, why is Korean plastic surgery is such a hot topic with one person, on this Forum.

My brother, and a few friends have a bombastic, in-your-face style of rough, sarcastic humor, so I'm pretty immune to the bashing. 'Still, I can understand why it grates on some people.
