I'm glad, Annika, her great rival, acknowledged Se Ri's retirement on twitter. Whenever, I have the blues from a farewell, I always watch the end of Dr. Strangelove and I fell 100% better. www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFkryh6hC-k

The Dodgers certainly could use Chan Ho Park (circa 1998) tonight in the elimination game against the Nationals.

Check out this incredible video celebrating Se Ri's retirement, and have your hankies ready. Here's a slightly different one that dupes some of the same footage, but also has some interviews (in Korean) with the great Korean stars who were there. This one's more of a Greatest Hits package (in Korean)

What a great, well deserved tribute to Se Ri.

Se Ri should have played 3 rds and said farewell on Saturday and publicly announce this would occur so more fans could watch her play. Make a special exemption and have Se Ri...the LOVELY GRACE PARK and Peanut be the last 3some on Saturday and then have the ceremony.

I have to admit, I shed a tear over that tribute video.
Happy trails, Se Ri!

Make a special exemption and have Se Ri...the LOVELY GRACE PARK and Peanut be the last 3some on Saturday and then have the ceremony. Between her sore shoulder and her resultant decline in form it was doubtful she would have lasted the entire weekend and even if she did she would have finished her weekend rounds on #9 away from the crowds. She probably also didn't want to divert attention away from whoever eventually wins the tournament so they purposely placed her in the final three ball on Thursday and had the ceremony just after her group signed their cards, after which she quietly withdrew.
I wouldn't know how amenable Mi Hyun would have been to your second point, but I do know from Facebook that Grace is pregnant again.

Huh...there's drama between Peanut and Se Ri?...pls explain...thx I don't remember if there were any real drama between them. I do recall the media made some comment about Se Ri having it easier than Mi Hyun. Happy Fan knows more about it than I do. I was such a big fan of Mi Hyun and still is, so I didn't think to much about it.

Obviously, I was wrong about Se Ri and Shi Hyun Ahn, although they never seemed friendly when they were paired together.
I never thought Se Ri and Peanut got along, but maybe it was because they were fierce competitors. Mi Hyun is probably still mad Se Ri blew past her at the 2001 Weetabix. I still remember how disappointed she looked at the awards ceremony.
Palmer used to dislike Nicklaus in the early years and I don't think Player and Palmer ever really got along. It didn't surprise me at all that Player didn't attend the funeral.
These players nowadays get along too well. I prefer when there is conflict, for example, Dave Hill vs. J.C. Snead.

I never noticed any tension between Se Ri and Shi Hyun Ahn. However I remember someone saying that Shi Hyun was not very friendly to the Gallery. I never saw that when I followed her. I guess I just see things thorough " Rose Colored Glasses". Maybe Mi Hyun could have beena little disappointed that Se Ri got a majority of the credit for the Koreans coming over. However I think they saw Mi Hyun success as a short driver, of the ball. Gave them hope that they could also compete on the LPGA.
