NK Madsen bombed out T-105...I pity her boyfriend if he looped for her.
Kim Kim crawled out of the basement with a 75 on Sunday, finished T-185.
Nov. 14 is the deadline for entering Stage 3.

The Japanese media caught up with Nasa Hataoka during Stage 2... ...and they were camped out at Narita when she came home. The translated articles say she hasn't decided when she'll make her pro debut in Japan. The Ito En Ladies (Nov. 11-13) would be the next one she's eligible for. She hasn't settled on an apparel or equipment contract yet. UPDATE: She has entered the Ito En Ladies.

Nasa is such a good story; such an unspoiled young girl.

nasa hataoka is receiving much media attention now, and much deserved. the other teenager to watch for is Minami Katsu, she won on Jlpga tour in 2014 at age 15, youngest to do so. although still an amateur she gets many exceptions into jlpga tournaments due to her win and has been consistently near the top of leaderboard.

Does anyone know if there are pushy golf parents in Japan? Do they have their B.J. & Bo, Tina, or Dave Henderson? People are people and it could happen anywhere, I think. Are there any ex-cemetery sleepers on the JLPGA?

Japan Town and China Town are different; Japanese and Chinese tend to be the original settlers of those communities.

The Koreans have certainly thrived in Los Angeles and other areas of Southern California. I don't think they have driven out the local competition but they work so hard, it is tough to compete. From what I can tell, every group that emigrates to California (African, Filipino, Chinese, Korean, Mexican and even people from the midwest) make it a better place but the traffic gets worse and worse.

The Chinese simply grease palms and buy their way into anything....nuff said.

Talked to a friend of Hannah O'Sullivan's dad, who has a daughter on Arizona State Golf team. He said that since Hannah had such a poor showing in Canadian Open and Evian Masters. She decided to withdraw from Q-School. Her plan now is to go to College, but not USC which she committed to . She wants to go to Stanford or Duke now. However USC will not let her out of her commitment, because they held a spot for her. It will leave USC golf team short handed, because it's too late to replace her. So she will have to honor her commitment or sit out a year, before she can enroll somewhere else.

If she improves mightily, turn pro. I don't see how it's a bad deal either way.

I've been impressed by Bronte Law; will certainly follow her trials and tribulations in order to qualify for LPGA.

Updates on Hannah O'Sullivan golfweek.com/2016/10/24/college-golf-hannah-o-sullivan-q-school-amateur/O’Sullivan’s pro career seemed imminent after she became the youngest player to win on the Symetra Tour, at age 16 in the Gateway Classic near her home in Chandler, Ariz. Instead, the 18-year-old, a one-time USC commit, is in the process of applying to universities and plans to enroll in the fall of 2017.
