Here's a sit down interview she did upon returning to Korea. It's in Korean, obviously, and no subtitles, but I thought you might be interested in seeing what kind of media she's doing right now.

Meanwhile, SHP slipped back into Korea unnoticed. That is to be expected. Her story is compelling--she grew up poor, but was taught to be charitable. Last year she donated over $100,000 to charity. She needs to do four things to get noticed: 1) Win major championships in the US & Europe, 2) smile, 3) speak English and 4) hire a top notch public relations firm that can spin fanciful tales.

Sung Hyun's time will come, no doubt about it. However, her biggest career challenge in Korea will always be In Gee; her dear friend and the 10,000 mega watts light bulb. Sung Hyun will always be Sampras to In Gee's Agassi. Sampras won almost 3 times more gland slams than Agassi but could never crack Agassi's hold on American audience. Life isn't fair, but there isn't anything anybody can do about.

If Whan is smart he will cultivate a rivalry between those two and make sure SHP is portrayed as the bad guy in the black hat. Even though by all accounts, SHP is one of the nicest players on any tour, it will be best for all involved if she is made out to be the female Rory Sabbatini. I think at the end of her career, she will be accepted and liked--similar to Nicklaus.

Here's an English language report about her return home:
Here's another Korean language program she was on. Believe it or not, I found yet another one besides the two I've posted -- three in the 24 hours since she's arrived back home (and I may have missed some!).

Had to throw this one up there. This video looks like it was taken by someone (a Flying Dumbo?) at the airport. No words, just a lot of images of In Gee's arrival. Dig the security guards tagging along with her!

Again...shut down the LPGA...especially in Merica. I would bet there were no more than 2 people at DFW when Bethany Lang flew home to DFW airport after her REAL major win...the USWO played on a FAKE Cali course.. One fan and her limo driver. You Yanks should be so embarrassed with all your "the Koreans are killing the LPGA" comments...ya....it's really difficult to like In Gee. After two flights that took from 16 -20 hrs...there's In Gee taking her time signing autographs....vs. scribbling her name....like Wie. See the guy at 1:39 in the suit....he was all decked out in Flying Dumbo stuff when I chatted with him in Seattle for 20 minutes....and the guy doesn't even speak English...his friend from San Diego was translating...lol. Hmmmm....where was the security in Singapore to help stop any flying suitcases.

Even if SHP follows your advice, she'll still be in the shadow of Ingee for the one obvious reason: Dumbo has a barrel of sex appeal and SHP does not. It's no one's fault and it doesn't make SHP a villain...but I think it's reality. Dumbo was one of many stars who skipped the 2016 Shop-Rite...I hope she makes it in 2017. I'll be curious to see how many Flying Dumbos show up for a non-Major tournament. I've seen her only once in person...as I walked through the gates of Lancaster CC during Wednesday AM practice at the 2015 USWO, she was the first player I saw...on a practice green with Lampshade Herden. She had three or four other people hanging out with her...never saw her play on the course Wednesday or Thursday.

What do you care if Dumbo shows up at the Shoprite...the USWO is in your backyard on your next POTUS's course. Or are you fanboying MHL in AC in hopes she gets you a USWO badge....though I doubt she has much pull with Diana or Mike...lol. There might be a few Flying Dumbo's at the USWO considering NYC is nearby....and a few at the 1st FAKE major.....I think the only chance of seeing Flying Dumbo's at non FAKE majors.....is likely San Fran...though I did chat with a San Diego Flying Dumbo in Seattle...so maybe a few for the Kia too.

Terminator is better looking than the others. Not sure how you guys can miss that. She'll have sex appeal once she starts to make putts.

I wouldn't call her particularly attractive, not fugly by any means but not in Na Yeon territory... Speaking of Na Yeon, is that flag in the signature thing common among the Asians or did In Gee steal it off Na Yeon?

Koreans love winners. If Sung Hyun continues to improve, she will keep growing her already considerable fanbase there. Remember that last year, Sung Hyun won the KLPGA's Most Popular award, narrowly beating In Gee in a year when In Gee won literally every other award save the Rookie of the Year. And based on the way the commentators gushed about her at Cordevalle, I wouldn't be surprised to see her gain a fanbase here as well. Meanwhile, the most popular Korean athlete I can recall was Yuna Kim the figure skater, who combined incredible dominance in her sport with gorgeous looks. If In Gee continues to up her game, could she start to get into that rarefied air? We'll know she's really starting to hit with the Korean public when she starts appearing in non-golf ads. Yuna shilled everything from yogurt to air conditioners, but then again, there wasn't really a big market for ice skating related products like there is for golf equipment. Still: Inbee has done massage chair commercials, So Yeon Ryu beauty products, Soo Jin Yang ginseng, so who knows what they might send In Gee's way?
