It would have been nice to see In Gee in the field and see if Terminator would wilt under the pressure.

Round 2 Please note that the co-leader is Ji Young KIM, not Ji Young PARK. Ji Young Kim is a rookie this year, while Ji Young Park was last year's Rookie of the Year. Yeah, it's confusing! It would have been nice to see In Gee in the field and see if Terminator would wilt under the pressure. Just wait until the Hite Cup in a couple of weeks. In Gee defends her Major title, Park tries to get her first KLPGA Major win since her very first win at last year's Korean Women's Open.

Round 3
Cinderella of the year? Almost certainly! Chae Lin Yang somehow pulls out a three hole playoff over Hee Won Jung, while Sung Hyun Park collapses (78!) and Sei Young Kim's charge comes up just short.
Yang made a birdie on the final hole to force the playoff. Jung, meanwhile, had a holeout on 13. Sung Hyun Park was in it until she made bogey on 14, 15, 16 and double on 17. Sei Young Kim missed a birdie on the final hole to join the playoff.
Yang is virtually completely unknown. Just this year, she has missed 10 cuts, and her best previous finish in 2016 was 20th at the Kumho Tire. Congratulations to her!

SHP is not ready for primetime. Two more years of KLPGA play are needed, then we'll see if she can make it on the big tour. Once she is here, an average of 3 wins per year for ten years will be sufficient to erase the memory of today's collapse.

As per usual....the REAL Koreans gagging it coming down the home stretch.
78 by SHP...what a fraud ...........and The LOVELY JU YOUNG PARK needing to birdie the 17th to get to -10 for a playoff and leaves with a SNOWMAN....ugh.

Sei Young's games travel well. Sei Young is a really good golfer, on the verge of greatness. I don't understand why she is left out, when people talk about the LPGA great future young golfers. Twenty three years old, is still very young. Not to mention she has five wins in tournaments when all the top players are playing.
