Glad to see my young friend Jessica Wallace get another invite. She must have some pull in Canada. She is about ten thousand out of tenth place on the Symetra Tour. Unless she rally it looks like Q School. Maybe by some miracle she can win the tournament. Stranger things has happened before. I'm a Jessica fanboy too...but unfortunately I don't see her making a living on the LPGA. One can only hope. The last time I followed her she seemed to have the game. But to succeed you need more than that. One thing she loves to talk when she is playing, probably more than Daniel Kang.

Nice to see Canada takes care of the homegrown players. Unlike San Diego, where Beth Allen will undoubtedly once again be on the outside looking in. She is too old, too homely and too lesbian for the Kia stuffed shirts. So are you saying the Koreans are a bunch of bigots and racists? I'd tend to agree....they never invite the Smiling Buddha into their 2some or 3 some to play golf....nor when he's asks to join....just sayin. How about you....do they shame you when you ask to join their group? Koreans are always nice to me but never say much. It's like Inbee Park's attitude toward Piller. She doesn't pay attention because she's not a threat.

J. Song, Eun Hee Ji, The Rocket, and Il Hee Lee waiting to depart Incheon airport: https://www.instagram.com/p/BJXDPTcB3Q6 ********* The final field of 156 is still in flux. The LPGA currently shows 151 players...add in four qualifiers and you get 155. Hye Jin Choi had an exemption for winning the Canadian Women's Amateur, but I don't see her name...maybe she declined? I don't see Sue Kim's name...yet. Ariya J. is still listed...did her bum knee recover quickly? ********* The thinking of a nickname for Hye Jin Choi...after watching her play this awesummer, how about "The Surgeon"? I'm open to other suggestions.

In 2014 Americans won the 11 of the first 17 events. Creamer, Wie, Korda, Stacy, etc. After that it was like turning off a faucet.
Lydia going for her 4th CWO. WHAT?! Lydia is an amazing ambassador for women's golf.

I watched Ariya on both the Driving range and putting green and she looks fine. I did not get to talk to her so I don't know that for sure. She is not wearing anything on her knee. Hmmmmm....I'm sure Ariya is a fast learner.....she did a Wie in Rio....gagging on the course...FAKED an injury to avoid further injury. Tony Priddis sits in the foothills....has there been much wind that originate from the mountains? Is Kathleen Ekey there watching from outside the ropes? Say hi to Cindy for me....you must be loving the favorable exchange rate. You headed out to Banff after the event?

I'm not feeling the "Surgeon" nickname.

Nice gagfest at the Mon qualifier...some of the worst scores I've seen for a Monday. Muni choked it up with a 81.
WTF......4 players with 101 and another with a 106....sorry but that is just plain embarrassing. My wife shoots 105 and she on plays hit and giggle golf.

Lydia going for her 4th CWO. WHAT?! Lydia is an amazing ambassador for women's golf. I'm not feeling a Ko win this week. In 2012, 2013....Lydia as an Am was able to venture to Vanc GC and Mayfair well ahead of time and prep....she also had a competent golfer member on her bag.....a 2015 repeat on Vanc GC. Now she's playing Priddis, an unfamiliar course to her without much prep. Look what happened in 2014 when she play The London Hunt Club for the 1st time.....T55......two Koreans in the spotlight....SYR's last LPGA win and Chella's questionable mark.

I'm not feeling the "Surgeon" nickname. How's this: Hye Jin is "The Choisen One".

I'm not feeling the "Surgeon" nickname. How's this: Hye Jin is "The Choisen One". Nope...too cheesy....we'll know when one sticks. We had some AMAZING nicknames from WRX...but the dbag WRX mods didn't like them...they were harmless...they even deleted a nickname thread that Argonne created so others could use as a reference. The mods suspended Argonne for a week for asking a simple question to the mods.....CLOWNS.

Tony Calgary has some of the craziest wacky weather....ya it must have been really lame if you left 7 hours early....lol.
I once woke up in the morning to catch a flight home in the 1st week of Sept...only to drive through 3 inches of snow to the airport. Yes Banff is in the mountains....played Banff Springs in the 1st week in July on a biz shindig and it was freezing at 8am....and then a 15 min rain (close to hail) storm around 11am...ugh.
The CWO should always be played in Van City...it will be 80*F sunny and no humidity, no bugs here this week.
It can also be turbulent flying coming in from the west just after the mountains.
I think you'll enjoy The Brooke Show in Ottawa next year....take time to do some sightseeing....kinda like a very, very, very mini version of Wash., DC. Ottawa is nice except for it's winters.
If Cindy doesn't go to Ottawa...there are some nice peeler joints and discos across the river in Hull, Que.....lol.

The local qualifiers: Briana Mao +3 75 Bridgett Thibault +5 77 Cristine Song +6 78 Angel Yin +7 79 Don't know what Muni shot. Conditions were quite horrific. I posted a few threads earlier...Muni gagged it with an 81.....4 players shot 101 and one shot 106...WTF.....was there a tornado warning in Calgary???.....lol. The scores are likely the worst from a Mon qualifier. Tony I'm kinda suspicious that the galleries might not be great....Alberta's economy is in a slump and I think lots of people are vacationing. Calgary is not a sport town like Edmonton....though any Calgarian would beg to differ. Priddis is kinda in the boonies.

Back in the day when I was last in the Ottawa area for an extended holiday weekend its neighbor across the river was still called Hull but around 2002 the Quebec government went on a municipal amalgamation spree and Hull got swallowed up into Gatineau.Kevin
