I had an awesome time at KCON in Newark this past weekend but before I can tell all about it, indeed before I even set out for home, I have to get this week's contest going. Your top 12 along with 3 alternates needs to be submitted no later than 1400GMT/10amEDT/7amPDT Thursday 30 June. Good luck!www.lpga.com/tournaments/cambia-portland-classic/final-fieldKevin

Well, it's hard to pick against Brooke, so I won't. Not sure Morgan will have enough left in the tank, but here's hoping. (She did a 2 day charity thing in Rhode Island this week.)

Another tournament that I never got to see. Given that Brooke went wire to wire to successfully defend that's probably just as well. This contest on the other hand was slightly more volatile.
There were three unanimous selections from our sixteen contestants this week. Anna Nordqvist almost entered the Table of Points on the final day, but the other two - Brooke and Stacy - finished 1-2.
Day one was fairly weak scoring-wise as just four other golfers besides Brooke were tabbed by anyone. Carlotta and Tutta were picked by 13 and 14 of us respectively, and half of the PakPicker field had four scoring selections apiece as they had either Angela or Lee-Anne, or both if they were missing one of the first two. Thanks to near spot-on placing the Verdant one grabbed the early lead:1. Verdant Garden 48.25 (4) 2. Schoolteacher Cindy 43.75 (4) 3. Golfing Grammy 43.25 (4) 4. tonyj5 42.75 (4) 5. dennis 40.75 (4) 6. ghinhee 40.00 (4) 7. cannuck 39.25 (4) 8. olamin 39.00 (4) 9. tatkins 37.25 (3) 10. centurion 34.00 (3)
11. GD Smyth 33.00 (3) 12. canlinny 32.50 (3) --- shung 32.50 (3) 14. IceCat 31.50 (3) 15. LPGA Ireland 29.00 (3) 16. Saint-Just X 21.50 (2) All but three scores went up on day two as Tutta briefly joined Brooke on top. We also had a grab bag of minor selections sprinkling points among the field. Two led the way with six scoring selections, with the contest within the contest - referring to the rivalry within the Jesselli household - figuring prominently. Golfing Grammy had the slight edge over tonyj5 at the halfway stage.1. Golfing Grammy 67.75 (6) 2. tonyj5 65.25 (6) 3. tatkins 57.25 (5) 4. canlinny 51.50 (5) 5. olamin 49.75 (5) 6. Verdant Garden 49.25 (5) 7. LPGA Ireland 48.00 (4) 8. dennis 47.75 (4) 9. cannuck 46.25 (4) 10. GD Smyth 43.75 (4)
11. shung 43.25 (4) 12. Schoolteacher Cindy 36.75 (3) --- ghinhee 36.75 (4) 14. Saint-Just X 35.25 (3) 15. IceCat 35.00 (3) 16. centurion 32.75 (3) With Stacy entering the Table everyone's scores went up on day three. Six of the top seven each had six scoring selections and for the top three they were the same six: Brooke, Tutta, Austin, Stacy, Carlota and Angela. Golfing Grammy still held the lead over tonyj5 at the final interval.1. Golfing Grammy 70.00 (6) 2. tonyj5 66.00 (6) 3. canlinny 64.50 (6) 4. Verdant Garden 60.00 (6) 5. shung 59.75 (6) 6. olamin 59.50 (5) 7. tatkins 59.25 (6) 8. dennis 55.00 (5) 9. IceCat 53.50 (5) 10. cannuck 53.00 (5)
11. LPGA Ireland 49.00 (4) 12. GD Smyth 46.00 (4) 13. Saint-Just X 45.25 (4) 14. Schoolteacher Cindy 43.25 (4) 15. ghinhee 42.50 (4) 16. centurion 42.25 (4) Gainers and losers of points were evenly split as the final putt dropped for Brooke. Everyone had at least four scoring selections as the few who didn't have either Tutta or Carlota to fill out the quartet with Brooke and Stacy filled in with one of the less popular selections. LPGA Ireland was one of those beneficiaries despite landing on the 404 report this week for not only having his entry in an hour late but also having two #3s in his list. He didn't pick Carlota but he made up for that by not only having Lee-Anne but he alone took a flyer on Cheyenne to notch his second consecutive silver medal. In the game of musical chairs among the tightly bunched group outside the top 10 Schoolteacher Cindy was the only one left standing so she gets sent to the basement with this week's wooden spoon.
Alone at the top with six scoring selections is the sophomore from Sweden, olamin, as in addition to the popular quartet he also had Austin and Lee-Anne. Congratulations!1. olamin 65.50 (6) 2. LPGA Ireland 59.25 (5) 3. dennis 58.75 (5) -- Golfing Grammy 58.75 (5) 5. tonyj5 58.25 (5) 6. canlinny 55.75 (5) 7. cannuck 52.75 (5) 8. centurion 52.00 (5) 9. IceCat 51.75 (5) 10. ghinhee 49.25 (5)
11. shung 49.00 (4) 12. tatkins 48.25 (4) 13. GD Smyth 48.00 (4) 14. Saint-Just X 46.00 (4) --- Verdant Garden 46.00 (4) 16. Schoolteacher Cindy 45.50 (4) The Verdant one has the Open this week and I'll return after that with the event opposite The Open, the last domestic full field event of the season in Toledo. Happy PakPicking, everyone!Kevin

Thanks, Kevin. I was right about Morgan running out of gas, and I unfortunately dropped Stacy way down the list. After the 3rd round I thought Catriona would save me but she was one stroke short.
