This might be the 9th hole...TV never shows depth...this is an elevated tee block compared to where the green lies.....not a huge change though. I think Sahalee is in an area that can be cool and foggy in the morning....I remember the 2010 USSO on Friday was fog delayed...although it later became a classic great sunny July Seattle day.

I've actually never eaten at this place, but it's less than a mile from where I work. (and if you check out the comments, In Gee Chun added one!) https://www.instagram.com/p/BFaUO0BQPHw It's awesome that Inbee and So Yeon are in my hometown! The Sisters probably never come to Seattle, but given the big Korean population around here, they should feel right at home. Lotsa Korean restaurants to try. I'll let you know if I bump into them downtown tomorrow. (PS - she also took in a Mariners game and met one of the players, Dae Ho Lee. Shows how much I follow the Mariners - I had no idea they had a Korean pitcher!) https://www.instagram.com/p/BFXq4clQPKC

Microsoft has become a 'founding sponsor' of this event. Microsoft signs on to sponsor KPMGThis was cool to read: Microsoft has recently signed on to sponsor a PGA event. It would be uber-cool to see a Microsoft LPGA Classic sometime in the future in this neck of the woods...

Happy The Crab Pot is a big tourist trap...including myself & wife for lunch too...but I didn't have the foodfest....gotta love a table full of seafood and drawn butter.....ya know it will get around and a bunch of gals will ventured there during the KPMG....especially the Asian pros. Did your office relocate or did you switch companies?....I thought you lived in Kent or Tukwilla? ...and only had a short drive to work. Did you notice the empty place setting for the Italian in the picture?....lol. Have you been to the Brooklyn by the Fairmont Olympic Hotel?....a nice restaurant and it also has a really good Happy Hour. Dae-Ho Lee plays at 1st base...not a pitcher...and was only acquired by the Mariners in April....he's quite old....33. The Indians and Rangers are in town during the KPMG...it wouldn't surprise me if Stanford, Gerina or Lang have asked to throw out the 1st pitch at one of the Ranger's game. Too bad the Seahawks are still months away. Microsoft is sponsoring the PGA tour...so far they are not a lead or joint sponsor of an event. You have the Boeing Classic....but it's disappointing Seattle has never captured a long term PGA venue and with it's full schedule....likely never will .......and it's really disappointing they haven't been able to find a sponsor for the defunct LPGA Safeco....an event I ventured to from 1992-98......when I got transferred out west.....I only attended the CWO twice in 80 & 82 when I lived back in Ontario. Meridian Valley was a good venue for a LPGA event.

Pak Pickers should mull this over...college scores at Sahalee for three ex-Washington Huskies:
Soobin Kim 2011-12 76-76-80 2012-13 71-67-67 2013-14 71-74-74 2014-15 69-67 (shortened by fog delays)
Jing Yan 2014-2015 75-72
Sadena Parks 2008-09 78-77-81 2009-10 78-83-72 2011-12 77-78-79
U.-Wash. plays Sahalee around October almost ever season as the host team of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational (named after former team coach).

The Crab Pot, where Inbee and So Yeon and family ate, is on Alaskan Way, which is the road by the water downtown. It's kind of like the Seattle version of Fisherman's Wharf. The aquarium is down there, lots of stores that sell useless souvenirs, arcades, the ferris wheel, and the restaurants are basically all pitched towards tourists. I think I may have eaten at one or two of those places at one time or another, but they are meant for visitors, really. So Inbee not only did her bit for KPMG, she also tossed out the first pitch at the Mariners game Friday night. https://www.instagram.com/p/BFa6L_yhvcq https://www.instagram.com/p/BFXvrtVBveZ

You better believe Ryann O'Toole would be throwing off the mound.

You better believe Ryann O'Toole would be throwing off the mound. I believe to best ball player is Gerina by a long shot. The worst sight is seeing a guy throw like a girly boy. Did you see the brawl on Sunday of the Rangers vs. the Blue Jays?....I'm surprised Bautista didn't go down...but baseball fights are lame...basically pile on the monkey. Nothing like a good ole NHL Donnybrook....featuring the greatest NHL player....Tie Domi.

I've been to the Crab Pot a couple of times but haven't been in years since I developed an allergy to crab and shrimp. The local paper, The Seattle Times has done a good job about printing an article related to the tournament almost every day. It's almost here!

You better believe Ryann O'Toole would be throwing off the mound. With all the injuries Inbee's had this year, I'd rather she take it eeeeeeasy.

Did every catch Winbee being a fangirl...she reaches in her jeans to pull out a Sharpie so Lee could autograph it...kudos. Safeco Field is a gorgeous ball park...real grass and a retractable roof....nothing better than to catch the sun on a great Seattle day/evening eating hot dogs and drinking beer and watching some bball....it's too bad the Mariners have s*cked for quite some time. The defunct KingDome felt claustrophobic. And Q-West field is right next door...and shamefully I've yet to be a 12th man and fanboy the Seahawks....#MAJORFAIL...Beast Mode Baby!! Both stadiums are walking distance from downtown with pretty good access from a major hwy..the I5.

I'd shoot myself if I got an allergy to seafood....I've always said that when I won the lotto...the butler would be serving me lobster and a dozen Malpeque oysters on the 1/2 shell for breakfast. You and Happy got to do some promoting yourselves. Get together with H-Mart and do a promo..... and hand out flyer promos on the weekend at the store until the KPMG....go recruit some cute U of W Korean gals and dress them up as K-Pop stars to hand out the flyers too. Buy $50 in groceries and get a free admission ticket....kind of like the free tix promo Safeway did in Portland. Maybe you can get Dumbo in on a Saturday to do an autograph signing and Hite beer sampling at H-Mart too.
