LPGA Power Rankings; this is a PGA treatment and an indication that LPGA is ready for prime time: Kingsmill Championship Preview and Power Rankings progolfnow.com/2016/05/16/kingsmill-championship-preview-and-power-rankings/11/2. IN GEE CHUN Rolex Rank - 8, 4 top-5s in 2016 In Gee Chun is banging on the gate. She’s recorded 4 top-5 finishes this year. Three of them were runner-ups. The 2015 US Women’s Open Champion is having a dynamite rookie year on the Tour and it’s only a matter of time before she puts a victory on her resume. Like Lexi Thompson, this is In Gee Chun’s Kingsmill Championship debut but that’s not going to slow her down. Every aspect of her game is solid and all she’s going to need is a little opening – she’ll push right to the top of the board and a win if Thompson’s flat stick isn’t working. Nice write up, I don't see the winner coming from that group mind you. Just my 2c but I see So Yeon or Amy winning this one..

Actually, Lexi Thompson played at Kingsmill the last 3 years.

Monday qualification: Emee Herbert 73 Britney Yada 75 qualified. Congratulations to SoYeonFan for Britney! Yea!!! This is her second year on the Symetra Tour, with mixed results. However she won three Cactus Tour tournaments here last year. However it's not what you would call a strong tour.

Is there a cut at the International Crown? In other words, will I be assured of seeing In Gee and Minjee on both Saturday and Sunday? Thanks if somebody knows. To me it looks like all 4 players from each team compete on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. www.ulcrown.com/tournament-information/format

Nice going...you just jinxed Dumbo.....assuming she'll be on the team.....duh. There is round robin play for 3 days...so you'll be able to see all players on Sat. Then 3 teams get eliminated for singles play come Sunday. * I assume the format is the same as 2014 this year. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_International_Crown#Format

It will feature three days of four-ball competition and one day of singles matches on Sunday. Five of the eight countries will advance to the Sunday singles matches based on the outcome of the four-ball matches contested Thursday through Saturday. www.ulcrown.com/tournament-information/format

IGC better start winning soon. Lincicome and Pettersen are players on the back side of their professional careers. They are relevant once or twice per year.
Whan must of seen the backlash here and SYR now gets a preferred pairing. I have to give the LPGA credit, they do a pretty good job of keeping the Koreans separated. Divide and conquer.
Kingsmill is a relevant tournament for Se Ri. She is getting a rousing send off, paired with Masson and Martin. Amy Alcott must have the week off.

The forecast is for calm days from Thursday on, but a lot of rain on Saturday. Most of round 3 and round 4 will probably be played on Sunday.
Will we see a spot-on In Gee who plays well, only time will tell!

Are there really a lot of LPGA and media big shots around here? That's pretty exciting. We're right in the thick of it.

But NYC continues to get the LPGA snub.
