Sadly the lonely Centurion (figuratively, not literally) is on the sidelines this week as play began today. Kevin LMAO... He was only 13 hours late. With the time difference he was actually seven hours late but the morning wave had finished up.

Round one is in the books and rather anemic scoring all around. Of the twelve golfers in the Table of Points just four gave anyone any points and no one had more than three scoring selections. First off this week is the popularity ranking of this week's field among our fifteen contestants:The popular combination was Minjee, Brooke and Sei Young, picked by seven of the top nine. The two tied for seventh had Cristie instead of Minjee, hence the odd scores. Baggerbob was alone in not picking the defending champion and sits on the bottom looking up at the rest of the field, led by the Saint.Kevin

Minjee alone remains on top, Sei Young drops to T4, Brooke drops to 6th and Cristie drops out of the Table. All but one of our contestants' scores went up thanks to the entry of Lizette, Lexi, In Gee and Shanshan (all T10). The one PakPicker whose score dipped was the Saint: despite picking up In Gee his failure to have Lexi on his card dropped him from the top spot all the way down to T12. Cindy is the beneficiary of the Saint's holding pattern as she takes over the top spot. The top seven all had Minjee and the top five led with six scoring selections apiece. Ghinhee and I would have joined them but we were the lone contestants in the top ten not to pick Shanshan; the other three are at the bottom of the Standings. I was the lone person to pass on Brooke but I along with baggerbob (who remains on the bottom) were alone in picking Lizette though she was of little help to the latter.Kevin

I had 7 picks at end of 3rd round. You did indeed, and at the 54 hole mark you not only have household bragging rights but the overall lead as well.
After two late nights bringing people into town for Marathon Monday I inexplicably got Sunday off so I'm getting caught up now. Final summary will be forthcoming.1. tonyj5 56.50 (7) 2. Schoolteacher Cindy 53.75 (6) 3. cannuck 49.75 (6) 4. Golfing Grammy 47.25 (6) 5. olamin 46.75 (6) 6. ghinhee 43.00 (5) 7. danielj 42.25 (6) 8. canlinny 42.00 (5) 9. GD Smyth 41.50 (5) 10. dennis 40.00 (5)
11. IceCat 39.75 (4) 12. tatkins 39.50 (5) 13. Saint-Just X 37.00 (4) 14. Verdant Garden 33.75 (4) 15. baggerbob 24.25 (3) Kevin

Just fourteen golfers graced the Table of Points and of them just six appeared on anyone's scorecards: winner Minjee, co-runner up In Gee, last year's winner Sei Young (T7), Brooke, Lexi and Shanshan (all T10).
The top five in the Standings had all six, and marital harmony prevails in the Jesselli household as tonyj5 and Schoolteacher Cindy finish in a tie at the top with cannuck and olamin keeping ahjumma Golfing Grammy from joining them on the podium. Had the centurion been on time he would have finished below the fold but not dead last: instead baggerbob goes wire to wire for another wooden spoon. The Verdant one already has the Swinging Skirts thread open for submissions - OK, perhaps I should have phrased that differently, so guys, get your minds out of the gutter. My calculator next makes its appearance the following week in Texas.Kevin
