I didn't get to watch the Broadcast
After three bogeys front nine, Hee Jeong Lim showed a lot of heart with four birdies back nine.

My favorite ridiculous trophy is still from Japan, when The Unknown Korean won a wastebasket and the Low Am won a Big Gulp cup.

I was rooting for Hyun Kyung, I'll admit it. Since she last won (at the 2021 KLPGA Championship), she has apparently had *nine* runner up finishes. She nearly had one again, although she bogied the final hole to drop out of t-2nd.

She fought hard. On one of the late holes, she hit a terrible approach into the trees; it bounced out into the rough, but she had a clear shot. Hit her third to eight feet, then drained a clutch par save. Her putting is something special, that's for sure. But she needed a birdie on the last and hit a lackluster approach that rolled back off the false front and basically ended her chances.

Min Byeol Kim came out of nowhere to capture third. Best score of the day, a 65. I only saw her final approach, which she hit within three feet for another birdie. She is still very much in the ROY race, she just needs to grab a win and she can challenge. But she certainly is a big talent on the verge of becoming a star.

Although Min Sun Kim 7 didn't win, she was in it until the end. A birdie on the last would have won it for her, but she couldn't deliver. For her first time in contention, the teenager was impressive.

Having said all that, Yewon definitely won it; she was the best player and got it done when she needed to. She now tops the money list. Is Player of the Year next? Stay tuned!
