My first time hearing this Acceptance Speech by Jeongeun Lee6. It was the best ever considering she had to learn English. With so many other things she had to deal with. I can only hope for great things for her going forward.

My first time hearing this Acceptance Speech by Jeongeun Lee6. It was the best ever considering she had to learn English. With so many other things she had to deal with. I can only hope for great things for her going forward. Many of the top players lay up in competition on the par 3 11th at CCofCharleston. You’ll make a 3 or 4 but not 5 or 6. On Sunday with the US Open in the balance Lee6 knocked it close and made birdie to a difficult pin position. To me it was the moment of the year in women’s golf and a close 2nd to when Tiger’s competitors all got wet on Golden Bell at Augusta.

Really good round by Sei Young Kim to maintain her lead. It could have been better if not for thirty two putts. She hit all eighteen greens.
Jin Young Ko had a great round with thirty one on the back nine. Her ball striking was still great. She also hit all eighteen greens. Also no bogeys for the second round in a row.
Good to see So Yeon shoot sixty eight to get into the top ten. Hoping that she finishes the tournament with a great score.
Jeongeun Lee6 with five birdies got to minus ten. But a double bogey on seventeen dropped her to minus eight.

Nelly’s neon shirt was straight from a wisconsin bowling league. She needs help.

Round 3 Some great golf on moving day by the Sisters! Sei Young maintained her lead, even though she cooled off a little on the back nine. Jin Young shot a long overdue 66 to move into the penultimate group. That's GREAT; I'm hoping she gets some network airtime tomorrow, and even better if she keeps hitting putts and greens like today. Nice to see So Yeon move into the top ten, and Lee 6 played well until that inexplicable double on 17. Were it not for that she might have been playing with Jin Young. We even have MJ Hur in the top ten. I've been crunching numbers. If Jin Young can get a top three, I think she can hold onto the money list title even if Nelly or Sei Young win. Henderson is more dangerous if she wins, but she's also a little farther back (I'm still worried she's going to steal this thing; God I hope not). As for Vare, I think 16 under is the number for Jin Young to bring her average under 69. 66 to get there. I'll be rooting like heck to see this season end with a bang for the Seoul Sisters. Sisters HWAITING!!!!

According to Randell Mell, Jin Young needs a 65 tomorrow to break 69 scoring average for the year. She has the Vare sewn up.
So now she has a target: 65 for the glory. GO JIN YOUNG!!!!

Round 4 BADA*S! Man, this was a roller coaster. The whole day, it seemed like Sei Young was getting ready to give up this title. The CME has not been good to the Sisters, and there have been several near misses over the years. As she missed putt after putt, and others were making shots to close in, it felt like a disappointment in the making. When Hull got to 17 under, it felt like deja vu of the time she stole the win away from So Yeon Ryu after Ryu got the worst lie in history in a bunker on 17. But just when it looked like that was that, Kim amazingly drained an unlikely curling twenty five footer, and the big check was hers. Awesome! That was an uber clutch shot; how appropriate that the last shot for a Korean in 2019 was a great one. Jin Young was not able to make a sustained run at the scoring record, although she easily claimed the Vare. I'm trying to crunch numbers now to see if she held on for the money list title. Either she or Sei Young will be the Korean with the highest money total in LPGA history. It's going to be close, Ko needs $38K this week to hold off Sei Young, which I think she managed with her t-11th finish. Nice day for Jeongeun Lee6 as well, although she just missed the top ten at 11th. She should break $2 Million as well, which would give the Sisters three $2 million+ earners this year, also a record. And great to see So Yeon notch a top ten, although we didn't get to see her on the broadcast. Great 2019! Congrats to Jin Young for all her awards, Sei Young for three wins, Lee6 for her epic rookie season, and all the winners and great efforts by the Sisters to make this a fabulous year. As ever, HWAITING!

A couple of other notes: Sung Hyun Park shot a 79 in the third round, then dropped out. Something is not right in Namdalla land. If I hear anything I'll let you know... Jin Young with her many trophies: Annika Major award, Player of the Year, Vare Trophy. Greatest season in Korean history? It's right up there. https://www.instagram.com/p/B5Qybi7lEkQ Am I the only one annoyed that Judy Rankin said that many people think Jin Young Ko is a robot? I mean, OK, Sung Hyun Park maybe, but Jin Young? I don't see it. Yes, she plays flawless golf at times, but she shows plenty of personality. Loved her Vare Trophy acceptance speech: 'See you next year. Bye!'

A big congratulation to Sei Young Kim for the big win. The clutch birdie on eighteen was awesome. It quieted all the doom and gloom from Judy about pressure on her. Sei Young has always taken a little more time before she putts. She also has been an aggressive putter. It has caused her on occasion, but also has helped her win.
Jin Young Ko needed to make forty thousand dollars to win the Money title. She made fifty nine thousand, which was more than enough. Nice sweep of Annika Award, Player of The Year, Money Title, Scoring Title.
Really glad that So Yeon Ryu finished with a top ten. There is no quit in that lady. After the even par second round, her pride would not let her mail it in.
Pretty good tournament for Jeongeun Lee6. Missed the top ten by one shot.
Kudos: Inbee Park minus ten on the weekend. That's what Hall of Famers do after a lackluster first two rounds.
Edit: I was annoyed by Judy Rankin mention of the "robot" thing. That must have been on her mind when she said it.

"Sung Hyun Park shot a 79 in the third round, then dropped out. Something is not right in Namdalla land. If I hear anything I'll let you know..."
From what I've read from my friends on her naver.com fanpage, it's a problem with her shoulder. And so nice to see Sei Young get #10 - no big fan group, but a consistent threat, and always fun to watch.
