I think I understand why Ye Rim Choi was picked over Somi Lee. Probably because HITE needed a player to represent them on the KLPGA team. Then I may be dead wrong and will leave it alone. It is what it is.

It's funny this event doesn't get any coverage in the GIC. I can't decide if they don't know it's going on or are aren't allowed to mention it.

It would shade the Solheim and they can't allow that. So it will forever be Korea's little secret.

I think Korea is just a sore spot in the discussion of American women's golf right now. It's not just the success, it's the overall not-dead feeling of their women's pro golf scene. I thought for sure they would at least mention Nelly going over to compete on the KLPGA, which I thought was a cute story, especially with big sis tagging along to chaperone. But no, not a peep. I know I am wacky but I almost want to believe that they shun Nelly in general, because she has too much Asian stink on her.

When 1/2 the stars on the LPGA are playing a team event in the Home of Women's Golf they need to let people know about it.

We don't meet people by accident. They are meant to cross our path for a reason.

As a fan of the LPGA (10+ yrs) and a fan of the KLPGA (3 yrs), I can see this (going to 4-6 LPGA tournaments a year). I see that there has been diminished coverage on the golf channel & LPGA coverage the last couple of years of these LPGA tournaments in Asia. In fact, after going to the CME tournament since 2014, and here again for 2019, I think i will pass on the 80% increase in ticket prices for global lounge tickets and plan a future trip to watch the KLPGA/LPGA players in the Asia Pacific for 2020/21.

Welcome! If you do witness a KLPGA event live next season, please do write up a report about it! We'd love to hear what the experience is like watching an event over there.

The site above is the home page of this event. SBS Golf and various MBC channels will broadcast it, so we shouldn't have any problems watching ... as of now, no TV dates and times have been posted on this website or on the KLPGA website.
