On a leaderboard such as this the name Brittany Altomare looms pretty large. I'm not a fan per se but this poor lady gets so snubbed by USA Golf it makes me want to root for her. Commentators seem to snark on her a lot too, inexplicably. Golf Week said you may not know the top 3 names on the board but.... If anybody following GW’s LPGA coverage doesn’t know who Altomare is that’s kind of on GW.

Congratulation to (Rookie) Cheyenne Knight. It was just in time for number one, to keep her LPGA card. She also will get into the Asian Swing and the CME Globe. It can be looked at as the biggest win of the year. Because it was her last chance and the win meant so much.
Not much happened for Inbee Park, Sei Young Kim and Jeongeun Lee6. But they did get top tens.

Americans have been notorious for not getting the job done but Cheyenne passed her tour test with flying colors. Good job!
On the Seoul Sister front, they showed Lucky Six quite a bit along with Sei Young, but I didn't any shots of Inbee. At least they all got a top ten along with Hyo Joo Kim. Sorry, Kim finished 12th.

Altomare is an attractive young lady, but it sure is noticeable on a big screen hi def TV channel that her face is much lighter than her legs. She must be putting on the SPF 50 with a paint roller - two coats! But, I'm not knocking her ... she'll look super for her future husband for a long time. Have you seen Young Kim lately? She avoided the sun like a vampire when she played and looks great on the KLPGA broadcasts today.

Round 4
Gah… I can't wait to forget this one. Figures that the one time they show a lot of Lee 6 and Sei Young, they are not exactly playing their A Game.
Usually the Sisters make hard courses look easy, but today they managed to make a middle level course look hard. Lucky Six did have some nice highlights, like a beautiful approach on one of the back nine holes for an easy birdie, and she had some beautiful par saves coming in, but she also had some real dogs as well; at least two approaches from the middle of the fairway that were nowhere near the right length, and a terrible chip on 9 I think. Sei Young should have easily been at 11 or 12 under but missed some really short putts.
Meanwhile, In Gee had a great chance to grab a top ten and went three over. It's been that kind of year for Dumbo.
Well, as I said, forget about this one and on to Asia. Hwaiting!

That's it for her this year, right? I'm seeing she's 126th on the money list, just a couple of hundred bucks out of 125th. Does that mean she has no card for next year? Did she need 125th for conditional, or has that changed? Also, I'm seeing In Gee as 63rd in CME points. Can she earn any more in Asia, or is she now out of that event?

All I know about Youngin is that being inside the top 150. She qualifies for the Q-Series In Gee Chun will get in one tournament, Swinging Skirts' during the Asian swing

How is the LPGA not writing about Lee6 winning the rookie of the year award after this tournament considering nobody can overtake her mathematically. At least she continues the rookie award trend by Koreans. Maybe hye Jin Choi can win next year if she wins the BMW championship or an Asian swing tournament.

For that matter, how do Fassi and Kupcho have tour cards? I'm guessing they qualified at Q Series, but they didn't turn pro until after ANWA; I thought you had to immediately turn pro at Q Series or forfeit your card? I guess that rule changed?

They changed the rule for college students. So they can finish out their year in college. Probably the big reason was to compete in the AMWA. Because they never cared about college students before.

They should care even less about the ANWA. Those fossils in Augusta don't care about the LPGA.
