Eimi Koga had a big fat Triangle on the Par 5 1st. All tours should stream these early morning first hole coverage shows. Gives everyone a chance to see their favorite players and see some new ones. It's a relaxing atmosphere and all the players have positive vibes at the start of the day. And since it's just one hole, they can do it with a skeleton crew.

for now eimi koga is back to even for rnd3 twobogeys twobirdies.... there must be close to 10 "live" youtube videos that its impossible to find the most current.... i will just stick to the jlpga leaderboard although it appears to be behind at least one or two holes compared to "live".... i hope shibuno stays in japan for now, the usa lpga is so competitive with the us and korean players she may have a difficult time... maybe just play the major tournaments...nasa hataoka is just an exceptional golfer... http://instagr.am/p/B3OPnNYFZas

Yeah, it looks like the JGA stamped out any rogue streaming EXCEPT for the 1st hole coverage of Round Three, but I'll check again later.

The air will be quite thin tomorrow for Shibuno friend Momoko Osato when she's paired with NASA in the last pair, but I'm impressed so far.
Osato friend Hinako Shibuno is too far back to win against this top-notch field...right?

The video below is an edited replay of the last few holes from Round Three. It starts with Shibuno's four birdies in the last six holes (includes near ace) and then switches to other leaders NASA, Ryu, Osato and Okayama.
The race for low am is a rout as Kajitani Tsubasa (-8) leads Yuka Yasuda and Ayaka Furue by eight shots
Serena Aoki (-3)
Good job again by SY Ryu (-13) ... meanwhile, the minor league Koreans all gagged
Shiho Oyama (E) and Reika Usui (+5) ... maybe Queen Shiho is back in good standing with Ping and briefly experimenting with Yamaha ... she was wearing a Kappa visor for most of the season.
Sayaka Takahashi (-6) ... those pants would be good on another LoudMouth staffer, John Daly
*******
The above article documents the madness...they had about 15,000 in general attendance during the first two days combined and another 15K on Saturday...this does not included freebies distributed the club members. Per Google mush, the best part of the article:
Yuji Higashimoto, general manager of Hakusan Development Co., Ltd., who owns three courses, including this course, screams joyfully. “The beer from the store on the course at Gallery Plaza was sold out at noon. I rushed to buy canned beer at a nearby supermarket,”

Kudos to Maria Shinohara for completing Round Three in a turtle-busting 3 hours and 9 minutes ... an obvious result when you go out first as a single, which she enjoyed like it was a "VIP practice round." She shot 75 and stands at T-55, +3. On Sunday, it will be Rika Yabuta's turn for the rabbit round ... do you think she'll have the 189-minute target on her mind? A: YES!
*******
Ah Reum Hwang (-4) shows which direction all the minor league Sisters went towards on Saturday
**********
Tough day at the office for Ayako Kimura (76, +3 overall), but it must have been a little unsettling to experience mob-like conditions in a pairing with Shibuno. But, she was quite cheerful before and during her opening drive at the start of the video below:
Sported a nice Fila top that said 'FILA' in big letters on the back...
...but the skirt spoiled it, ugh. Memo to Fila and all other brands: outward drawstrings belong on the beach or the gym, NOT on the golf course!

i hope shibuno stays in japan for now, the usa lpga is so competitive with the us and korean players she may have a difficult time... maybe just play the major tournaments...nasa hataoka is just an exceptional golfer... One could have said the same thing about Nasa before she made her move to the LPGA and, in fact, she had a terrible rookie season and ended up going back to Q School. But I think her experience playing the world's best toughened her up and she's a much better golfer now than if she stayed in Japan. Full automatic status is a gift that may not come around again. She can always go back to tbe JLPGA. But she should give it a go, just like Nasa did.

Everything you said makes sense, but Shibuno seems to do everything the opposite and gets away with it ... that's what makes her such a fascinating figure. I can't believe we're discussing someone who finished 40th in JLPGA q-school last year!
Back to Round Three: the par-5 18th (500 yards) has a firm rolling fairway which narrows and has a big pond on the left (and almost all the players drive it right-to-left). NASA and Ryu teed off with FWs, but Shibuno goes with driver and murders it with a 66 meter-per-second ball speed (and found the fairway, too). My Excel spreadsheet converts that to 147.6 MPH and assuming a smash factor of 1.5, that's a swing speed of 98.4 MPH. Hello, that is LPGA territory and more ... maybe she reached back for a little extra on that swing; I haven't seen enough of her to know. She had only 200 yards left, reached the green and missed her eagle putt by an inch. This was the rare putt that she did NOT clobber. About 2-3 years ago, some guy was a selling a "putting system" on the practice green at the Seaview. He said the conventional wisdom of trying hit all your putts 18 inches past the hole was passé, because more speed makes the cup effectively smaller. It's a reasonable theory, but it's safe to say that his system of making the ball die in hole will NOT be bought by Shibuno any time in the near future! FYI, Hee Kyeong Bae is the 'lucky' recipient of the goldfish bowl pairing on Sunday. All logic says NASA should win, but if you-know-who throws caution to the wind... My preferred winner would be Osato ... has a languid high-hands backswing with a moderate bend in the left arm ... nice to look at, the swing and her!
As for 2020, a Shibuno plan to play the JLPGA regularly with breaks to play all five LPGA majors is certainly doable, but the travel distances would be brutal (and she'll probably get an invite to at least one of the Asian spring tournaments, too). I really want to see her at Aronimink next year. I think Dumbo's sked of 2015 would be the closest equivalent, who played four LPGA majors, plus two JLPGA majors, plus three LPGA spring events, plus the KLPGA schedule.

Great play so far from So Yeon Ryu, fingers crossed for a great finish.
I hope that Hinako Shibuno stays in Japan. Making players make a decision right away is bogus. It's a tough decision to come to a difference culture and language. Give them time to work on learning the language. If she plays the Majors and decides to come over. She can always go to Q-Series. No doubt in my mind that she will at least finish top five.
Jin Young Ko was so miscible early in her first year. She was thinking about leaving the tour.

There are chat comments to the right of the screen during these LIVE YouTube streams ... some of the more interesting and amusing ones, courtesy of Google mush:
八郷格昨日行ってきました。暑かったです。行きと帰りにシャトルバスに並ぶのが疲れました。誰が優勝してもいいけど日本人に頑張ってもらいたいです。 I went to yesterday. It was hot. Tired of lining up on the shuttle bus on the way back and forth. Anyone can win, but I want the Japanese to do their best.
日本万歳!韓国をぶっ壊す!世界のNASAちゃんが居るから! Japan's great! Breaking Korea! Because there is NASA in the world!
kozo確かに韓国勢はスロープレーですね! kozo Certainly, Korean players are slow-playing!
〇ぽん一昨日と昨日行ったけど渋野日向子ファンが多すぎてやばかったー
〇Pon I went yesterday and yesterday, but it was crazy because there were too many Hyugako Shibuno fans

How do you like that last comment from Japan's Golf Network? The video is still running with over 2,600 people viewing it. Shibuno tees off in about 1 hr. & 45 minutes ... curious to see what the viewer count will be then. UPDATE: They just slammed the lid on it. Boo! I'll switch over to the KLPGA now. The NHK-G feed has it, but it keeps stopping and starting...annoying as hell. The current leaderboard is below...might as well give it to NASA now...the four closest chasers are in bunkers and rough all the time. Ryu just went from rough to rough on #15. Shibuno opened with 13 pars before getting her first birdie. I'm going back to bed.

I guess they terminated your video above. Why are they such elites. I am so glad to see So Yeon have a great tournament again. In defense of her title. She had a nice birdie on sixteen to tie for second. Would have liked to see her win, but Nasa was just to tough. Nasa started with a very solid first round and never let up.
