We've Brooke Henderson in Canada; Hinako Shibuno in Japan; Jin Young Ko, Sung Hyun Park, Lucky 6, Inbee Park and In Gee Chun in Korea; Lexi, Michelle, Nelly and Jessica in the US; Ariya and Moriya in Thailand; Georgia and Charley in England; the list go on and on. Whan doesn't need to worry about 150 Brooke Henderson's; he already has a handful more than he can handle. If He can't do anything with what he's on hand; more dreaming won't change anything. He was talking to the Canadian press, so of course he’s going to hype Brooke Henderson. Sure, but it's not like he doesn't do that already regardless... Again the question: if the tour cannot support more than one Canadian event (and even that one has struggled) EVEN WITH Henderson, why does he think she's the key to massive success? Why does he think 150 Hendersons would be more helpful to the tour in, say, Asia than the current situation? Yeah, I know he's just talking her up for the Canadian press, but we still get to make fun of him!

Tony, if you get a chance, check out Emily Zhu...the long-hitting (for her size) string bean I saw at Raritan Valley last month.

The qualifier scoreboard as of now:
Pos Player Name Nat. Par Score 1 Kelly Tan (MAS) MAS -7 65 2 Suzuka Yamaguchi (JPN) JPN -2 70 3 Robyn Choi (AUS) AUS -1 71 3 Muni He (CHN) CHN -1 71 3 Maddie McCrary (USA) USA -1 71 3 Julieta Granada (PAR) PAR -1 71
The Golf Canada website says a playoff would be conducted if they had more than four players in the top four positions. Per Ann Cain's Twitter, McCrary and Granada were eliminated.
Per the final field listing, McCrary and Granada are in as sponsor invites. So apparently the playoff was pointless.

I liked the So Yeon interview about her goal to make the Olympic team. Also having a balance between golf and other interest. She acknowledged that she has not played up to her expectations. That she will continue to focus on playing better. By remembering the things that has made her a successful golfer. I believe that she will.

MHL did nothing last week and moved up three spots on the RR to #35. She's grouped with Inky and Annie Park. Annie also did nothing last week and closed the RR gap on Austin Ernst from .02 to .01 in average points...AP vs. Ernst is the tournament within a tournament for a guaranteed Solheim spot.

I like that So Yeon is paired with Jessica. I like Jessica, she has been one of my favorites every since her Amateur days I just don't repost any of her Instagram post anymore because of her parents. When Nelly was paired with Jin Young Ko at the ANA. If Nelly putted out first, they would walk away before Jin Young putted. You would think parents of a golfer would show more class.

She's wearing a special 'maple leaf' glove just for this week. Pretty cool!

Whan announced that next year it'll be Evian, Scottish, then British in consecutive weeks. Should make the Scottish a lot more competitive.

Aren't the Maple Leaf in Toronto, Canucks in Vancouver? The maple leaf is the symbol for all of Canada - I.e. the Canadian flag. 🇨🇦 Yes, the Leafs are in Toronto, as is the Canadian Open this week.

Stupid me I know that. Just having a little fun.
Edit:I have taken the Ferry to Windsor Ontario in Canada several times. So I may be a little familiar with the Canadian Flag. But it's ok to get a Geography Lesson.
