The livestream is still scheduled to start at the same time as the broadcast, which indicates that NBC will not be tape delayed. But -- like yesterday -- you can count on NBC dumping out of the LPGA mid-swing at the end of their broadcast window. Unless Lexi is still in contention...gotta "cultivate" her to reach No. 1! So DVRs should be set to start on GC at 6pm ET. Six clock local news is God; a No. 1 Lexi leading won't change anything. We're fortunate that KPMG is being covered by NBC Sports instead of Golf Channel; it takes priority over PGA Tour, Korn Ferry, PGA Champions or European Tour. I'm really hoping we're both wrong about this. NBC would never dump out of the final round of a PGA Tour major on a Sunday for local news. A lot of people don't get Golf Channel. If I'm Whan's hypothetical "casual fan," and I've invested 3 hours of my Sunday to check out the LPGA, I'd probably swear it off forever if they cut off the ending.

Tom Abbott had been doing so good pronouncing Sung Hyun. But then Dan Hicks showed up and so now Abbott's gotta go back to mispronouncing. So embarrassing.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BzEXo8Ig2Ku Congratulation to Hannah for making a Major her first LPGA win. Nice second place finish for Sung Hyun Park. Thanks to Ariya for making bogey on eighteen to enable So Yeon to get top ten. Jin Young did not have a very good finish. But still is a solid number one. Jeongeun Lee had another great final round of five birdies and one bogey. There is no mailing it in for that lady.

Happy to know In Gee will play next week in Arkansas; it's another chance to check her progresses.
She needs repetitions to get her new swings into a groove.

Big day for Australian golf. Very fun to have Webb and those super fans running around for it.

PS - is there ANYONE attending this tournament? I have yet to see more than a smattering of fans following any groups this week, and the stands are mostly empty. It felt like this event was getting a decent turnout the past few years; when I went at Sahalee the crowds were great. I sure hope the Minnesotans turn out on the weekend.
I saw none of Round Four. Some of the overhead shots of Green's group in Round Three showed not many people following them, but the view was so high up that they looked like ants.
Angel Yin at 1st tee on Saturday...I count about a dozen empty seats, which isn't bad...of course, this is a baby grandstand, compared to a men's major. Heck, it's dwarfed by the 36 seat by 13 row grandstand they set up for the World Long Drive at ACCC earlier this month!
The local columnist thought the turnout was lousy, although he was comparing it to the Ryder Cup. Is that fair? Excerpt:
How small were they?
I was on the course for a couple hours Saturday, and again Sunday, and never encountered a drunk. Heck, when we were leaving the course 2½ hours after the Ryder Cup, I distinctly remember seeing one of those still sleeping under a tree.

I'm happy for Greeny...Sung Hung and her weirdo army do nothing for me. Off the top of my head, I'm trying to think of a non-Asian player donning Srixon headwear...there must be more, but my mind is a blank.
Of the bottom 28 players on the leaderboard, only one broke par on Sunday with a 71: MHL, queen of "garBAGE" (accent on 2nd syllable using phony French accent) time. I'd post a pic of her, but Getty Images missed her among the 2,476 photos they posted from Thursday thru Sunday.
Did they show Danielle Kang today? I'm wondering if Man Bun is still her looper...I'm guessing yes. Although DK skipped ShopRite, I saw MB walk out on the range in flip flops...I assume he had one-off assignment with one of the AAA scrubs.

Hanna’s flipped up collar was a good look. There are too many players dressing like a midway ride carny.
One thing about Fassi, at least she dresses like she’s on TV.

Round 4 Not the result I was looking for, of course, but it sure got interesting towards the end, didn't it? As often happens, Sung Hyun charged hard in the final round of a Major. That short one she missed on 17 cost her, but the putt she made on 18 was something else, wasn't it? CLUTCH. For a brief moment I thought it might be enough, but give Green credit for getting up and down to fend her off. Of course, the two holeouts she had now loom really large, as they were the difference between a one shot win and a one shot loss. I did predict Ariya's meltdown, though. Man, she was all over the map! And Sei Young isn't winning Majors because she, too, is too wild too often. Just when she was closing in, she blew it big time. She can get away with that in ordinary events (sometimes), but in Majors it kills her. The leaderboard was pretty good. Great holeout for eagle by Mirim, and a nice birdie on 17, but she gave that back on 18. Did they show Hojo even once? Inbee could have EASILY won this if her putting was 2015 grade; it was painful seeing her miss those putts that normally she would be dunking. So Yeon rallied and notched another top ten. In Gee had four OK rounds this week. Only tied 30th, but the fact she didn't have even one terrible day is noteworthy. If she had put together just one 68 and it could have been really special. Lucky Six should rest. But nice to see her rally to a 68 today, getting her a T-30. She is a FIGHTER. Beat pretty much all her rookie rivals again, and even Stephenson only barely beat her. Also a shout out to Inky on her T14 in her return, and Jin Young for the same, which ought to keep her in her top ranking. Better luck at Evian and the UK, Sisters. Hwaiting!!!

I liked seeing Sung Hyun Park in the scorer’s tent. Most of the time on the course (and what the public sees on tv) she comes across as cold and unapproachable. That smile after Green won showed a different, warmer side of her.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BzEvGkrFXZb Jeongeun is skipping the Walmart for some needed rest. It's not just the golf that she needs a break. It's also the traveling from tournament to tournament. Which is a lot farther than she had to do on the KLPGA.

A few more random thoughts about this week.
Inbee is not the putter she was a few years ago, but I still feel she might come around before the year is out. Sunday was a prime example. They showed her missing at least four putts that I feel most Sundays at a Major she would have easily made. It feels like this was a real lost opportunity for her. Still, people would be wise not to underestimate her. She's in the HOF for a reason.
I hope So Yeon gets back to her chill ways and learns how to control her temper better. I've seen her get annoyed before, and it's certainly understandable with the pressure she faces, but whacking clubs on the ground is not cool.
In Gee didn't have a great finish, but she should be pretty happy with her week. Four solid rounds, no major foul ups, and long off the tee. I'm encouraged.
Things worked out perfectly for JE Lee 6 and JY Ko. All Ko's major challengers for the #1 position underperformed, and she did well enough that she should be able to maintain her top ranking. Lee looked like she was going to lose big points to several ROY challengers, but her Sunday 68 moved her ahead of most of them and close to Stephenson.
It was great to see Mirim again! I miss her! Also, Inky had a nice return to action and has now done well in two Majors this season.
