The Notorious RLB whisked off in a private jet to Game 3 of the NBA Finals...caviar wishes and champagne dreams! She picked this instead of trying to qualify for the ShopRite?! https://www.instagram.com/p/ByWTIGyFWAp "honestly no idea how this happened" I am beginning to dislike this person.

What do people say after they meet this Rebecca Lee-Bentham? Do they then go about their day thinking they just met an international sports star or something? I mean she absolutely looks the part. I suppose if you show up on a red carpet and tell everyone you are a pro golfer, most people will just accept it no questions asked. Really need to get to the bottom of this.

I had a co-worker like this once. She was an attractive Chinese American lady, but not over the top beautiful or anything. But her Facebook feed was full of weird celebrity encounters, parties she shouldn't have been invited to (opening night at the hip new dance club in Soho, that sort of thing), weekend trips to Burning Man or sudden trips to Cambodia, etc. She was the kind of person who made instant friends with everybody. Maybe that's Rebecca's super power, too?

Maybe that's Rebecca's super power, too? Yeah I figured she's a talented shmoozer. I did a bit of research. Rebecca won the Canada Women's Amateur and in 2013 was named by an association (I assume) of Canadian golf writers as their "top golfer of the year". Perhaps that was just enough of a catapult to put Rebecca on Canadia's A-list. Hey don't laugh, this was all before Brooke Henderson showed everyone that a Canadian could actually win.

In Gee on May 31st at the US Women's Open. Wait a minute … did she and Colin Cann part ways?

She's up to nearly 50,000 followers. That's more than Jtibs, the Rocket, Inky and Mi Hyang combined. It's inexplicable. Currently T-2 at the Symetra event as I write this. https://www.instagram.com/p/ByY8uYHH_HW

I'm scratching my head on Kelly Tan's popularity, too. I flipped through her Instagram. She's cute, and she's probably the only Malaysian player at her level, but my guess is there must be something happening outside our view that has made her well known to her home country fans. Any theories? I didn't see anything in her photos that explained it.

She was on that KLPGA Big Break-style show that she SHOULD have won (given her competition) but I've heard nothing about the results. It doesn't really seem that would cause such a spike in followers in any event. It's a big country...maybe just being the Queen of Malaysian golf is enough.

I didn't see the results, either, but given Kelly hasn't shown up at any KLPGA events so far (while a Brazilian woman has), my guess is that she didn't win.
