In Gee is playing this week. She likes this course and has done well here in the past (lost a playoff last year).
Here she is on site showing off that beautiful swing of hers. Hope she hits a lot of shots like this one this week!
LPGA also caught her smiling during her practice round (not exactly a rare event for her, I know). Jenny Shin, too, although she gets a Gilligans Island-like 'and the rest' credit!

19 year old lpga rookie Suzuka Yamaguchi visited busch gardens williamsburg and played a practice round with Nasa Hataoka. Sakura Yokomine, Haru Nomura and Mina Harigae are in the field. also i believe this is the first lpga tournament this year for Hawaii's Stephanie Kono who passed qualifying tournament earlier this year. http://instagr.am/p/BxvCOp5FCdU

At T-106 thru 16, I wonder what it would take for GC to curtail shot-by-shot coverage of the Drama Queen.
Could they at least cut down on the endless Lexi/caddy fairway deliberations?

Jin Young got off to a terrible start, but things got better!

Slow starts to their round for Jin Young Ko and Jeongeun6 Lee. Jin Young three over front nine and three under back nine, finished even. Jeongeun6 plus one front nine, minus four back nine, finished minus three.
I now see what Youngin Chun needs to improve. She only missed four greens but had seven bogeys. So she must have had three putt problems. She had six birdies, but ended one over for the round.

Nice of GC to compile all 52 seconds of coverage of J. Song today. They spent that much time showing Lexi jawboning with her caddy on one fairway shot.

This newspaper has a ton of pics:

MHL (-3) played great...she is great. I'm guessing that red & orange pin on her cap is for the SK Wyverns.
J. Song (in grey) walking with J. Concolino, while Ruixin Liu is in back.

Round 1 Not a great day for most of the Sisters, but could have been worse. Jennifer Song's career best round put her into a tie for the lead. That'll work! In Gee and Youngin both got out to 3 under at one point, but both had truobles finishing. In Gee at least kept it to 1 under, but Youngin fell all the way to 1 over. Still, that's one of her better starts. Hope Youngin can make her first cut of the year! As for In Gee, this is one of her favorite courses, she needs to find a way to rally and get onto that leaderboard! All season, Jeongeun's biggest challenge has been slow starts. Even at Mediheal, she had to come back from 8 shots back to get into the playoff. Today she actually had a good opening round, 68. She's tied with Rocket, MJ and Mi Hyang as top Sisters, t10. If she can put together her usual strong second round, this could be a really special week for her. Jin Young had a nightmare start, but her blessed season continued with a hole out eagle that helped her get back to even par. Knocked the rust off, now it's time to soar! Sisters hwaiting! Jin Young Lucky Six Danielle Minjee's looking to get to #1 this week! NYC

Youngin is really fighting to make the cut. Surged early to -2, double bogey to Even, back to -1, another double bogey to +1 and currently just over the cut. Good luck, kid! Keep Hwaiting!

Youngin is really fighting to make the cut. Surged early to -2, double bogey to Even, back to -1, another double bogey to +1 and currently just over the cut. Good luck, kid! Keep Hwaiting! Unfortunely Youngin made three bogeys after the double to fall to +4. She made one more birdie to give her eleven birdies for the two days. Missing another cut, she might not get into many other tournaments after the reshuffle. Too bad because she belongs on the LPGA instead of the Symetra Tour. She will probably have more birdies than any other players for the two days. Not seeing her that much, I bet that she is an aggressive putter. Which sometimes leads to three putts, instead of birdies.
