Another Ai Japanese Superstar golfer in the making. They both has unique swings, are, were great putters and really great personalities.
Seon Woo had a bad back nine, but still not a bad Tournament.

Well, I did a good job cursing Seon Woo. Still, I don't think it will be too long before she gets her first win. Nice tournament for her for the most part!
(when I checked last night, the #1 search term in Korean sports was Seon Woo Bae, #2 was jlpga. A lot of people are following her fortunes!)

Yea! Kotone Hori is listed in the next JLPGA Tournament. Really hope she gets off to a better start. Her sister is not listed.

A few closing odds and ends....
I guess the date March 17 doesn't resonate in Japan...almost none of the 57 players on Sunday wore green...two exceptions below:
Kumiko Kaneda (-1)
Ha Neul Kim (+1)
***************
The link above is the 1st tee coverage from Sunday's round. At 56:08, while waiting to tee off, Sakura Koiwai's caddy does a handshake with his player...they also did this on Saturday at the 1st tee...it's an innocuous action, but I couldn't recall seeing a player and caddy do this BEFORE a round started.
At 56:26, the camera zooms in on Miyuki Takeuchi, who has four fanboys in the bleachers holding signs...she looks in that direction at 56:36, but does NOT acknowledge them.
At 17:07, Commish Kobayashi is in the starter box watching a group getting ready to tee off. This is a common occurrence, which got me thinking...I've gone to numerous LPGA events since 2005 and I can't remember seeing Whan in person. I know he attends them, but we must be traveling in different circles...I guess he doesn't monitor the Galloway pro-am washouts he brings in. Before him, I don't recall seeing Bivens or Votaw in person, either.

My final take is in agreement with an earlier comment about masks. . .Erika K hid her pretty face with one, what a shame. . .

Phil, I've seen Whan a few times at the tournaments I've attended. The last time was last April at the Hugel tourney in L.A. Saw Bivens once when she presented the million dollars to Jiyai Shin at the 2008 season-ending tournament. This was at Trump's West Palm Beach course. Trump was there as well.
