This is the annual amateur team event that pits countries from Australia, New Zealand and Asia against each other. 11 of the past 12 years, the Koreans have come out on top. This year the event is taking place in Australia. After two rounds and with one to go, the South Koreans are again putting on a show. Here is the leaderboard heading into the final day. Korea has a 14-stroke advantage. In the individual standings, the Koreans are again kicking butt so far. "...on the individual leaderboard, Uhjin Seo leads at six under through two rounds, Ye-Been Sohn is second at four under and Ye Woon Lee is equal fourth at one under." Round 2 wrap

India had one really good player who helped carry their team. Her name is Anika Varma. Keep an eye on her in the future!
Meanwhile, guess who coached the Korean team to victory? Birdie Kim!

Meanwhile, Australia finished second, and two thirds of their squad sound like they might be Sisters:
Doey Choi and Julienne Soo, who plays for U of Oklahoma

Also:
The next time you watch an Amateur event over here, ponder how many world class Korean amateurs don't even play over here.

Phil contributed the following photo to the thread of Captain Birdie and her crew. As per his request, I removed the duplicate thread for this event.
