Yuka Saso is -1 and T2; the 17 years old will challenge Sung Hyun and possibly beat her.

Total purse US$100,000. That should be about equal to the appearance fee for the World #1. Looks like just about anyone who calls themselves a pro can get into this event if they can come up with the US$100 entry fee and the US$14 caddie fee. Oh, there's also a 25% witholding tax on any prize money earned. And don't forget to return the key to the ladies locker room before you leave each day! lpgt.ph/2019-the-country-club-ladies-invitational/#

Sung Hyun round 2. I suspect she is in this field because she was going to be in the Philippines anyways to sign her Solaire deal, so they looked around for a tournament for her to play to extend her time there and make the trip more worthwhile, and this one won the lottery.

Third and final round has started; both Park and Saso pared #1.
It'd be a psychological lift if Yuka can beat or tie Sung Hyun today.

Yuka delivered an inspired performance; but golf is a tricky game, it means very little for her next tournament.
What's more meaningful is she beat the third place finisher, Dottie Ardina, by eight shots.

Saso pulled a So-Yeon-Ryu-at-KPMG move to hand the win to Sung Hyun.
To be honest, I doubt Park was taking this penny ante event all that seriously, but it still would have been a bit embarrassing if she had lost.

Saso pulled a So-Yeon-Ryu-at-KPMG move to hand the win to Sung Hyun. I had kind of forgotten about that Tournament. Now you remind me of it again. That's ok, So Yeon played great in the tournament. Just one of the bad things that has happened to her in her golfing career. Like Charly Hull playing the best tournament of her life at the CME. To edge her, after So Yeon bad break on the par five seventeen.
