Herden is back in Asia? No longer on Law's bag? Or just for this off-week?

AI Suzuki did not get off to the great start like last year. If she hadn't got injured, I believe she would have won all the awards. Good start for Bo Mee, but bummer for Ha Neul. Even par round for Kotone Hori a lot better than plus six, so there's hope.
Same oh, same oh at the top of the Leaderboard.

I could see at the start of this AM's 3rd round replay that it was all over...in rainy and breezy conditions, Mamiko Higa is last woman standing.

I saw only the late part of the 1st hole drives from Sunday's round...but it's saved on Youtube so I can watch what I missed. Is there any point in getting up at 1:30 AM? Higa has a six-shot lead after five holes...highly improbable that she'll blow it. She is wicked through the hitting zone- LPGA quality...no way should she allow Ahn, Shin and Suzuki to take home all the hardware again at the end of this season. Looking ahead to the 2020 Olympics for Team Japan, Nasa is a lock for the one spot. Suzuki is next with a Rolex ranking of 31, but Higa at 47 is good enough to pass her.
Chae Young Yoon and Mika Miyazato...I don't know what to make of players who wear shades all the time, even when it's been overcast there the last two rounds.

Higa had dropped a few shots by the time the broadcast started at the 14th hole, but she was never in danger of losing. The best part of the broadcast (below) was a clip of Hina Arakaki (age 12) at the 2011 Daikin (13:06 thru 14:00)...shot 84-90, DFL...both Miyazatos missed the cut, too.

I'm guessing the baby is being comforted by a Daikin air conditioner or air purifier...or maybe the little one is dreaming of the fun using Daikin's defense products (ammo, warheads, grenades and fuses).
Rei Matsuda
Bo Mee Lee (+7)
Shiho Oyama (+11) and Saka Nagamine (+4)
Nayeon Eum (+13, T-50) picked up ¥468,000 (about $4,210 USD) in her first JLPGA start. She is the only Eum on the KLPGA roster...will turn 26 in September...except for 2016, she has been a career KLPGA Jump/Dream Tour player.

Congratulation to Mamiko Higa for holding on and winning the Tournament. I was impressed with her play at the first UL International Crown. She lost to Anna Nordqvist in singles, who was playing great at the time. She had a couple of down years after that, but is starting to play great again.
Kudos: To Mika Miyazato for a top ten.
