I've been sick like a dog earlier in the week. I've had to go to bed early every night to recuperate. Last night just before I went to bed, The Golf Channel came back from a commercial showing footing from a prior round. Was there a weather delay? Was TGC incompetent?
Any ways, Amy loves Thailand! She's won for the third odd-year in a row.
They said Danielle Kang came down with something overnight. Glad she was able to land a top ten.
In fact, nine players captured the top nine positions. I don't think I have seen that before.

Nelly has been active on line; the family must have known about that incidence earlier

Dustin Johnson is going for his third odd-year win in a row at the same tournament as well.

Round 4 Congratulations to Amy Yang! I'm glad I decided to watch this one, it was a very exciting battle. Most of the day it looked like Amy had it in hand, even with Minjee making some great shots. Then, suddenly Amy stumbles, Ciganda chips in for eagle, and Minjee makes birdie, and everyone is at 20 under. It ended like it had to: Minjee with an eagle putt to tie and force a playoff, and JUST stopping short. It's a measure of how many great Sisters there are: even with the top three Koreans in the field all struggling, we still had four Koreans in the top five. Another good week for Eun Hee Ji, and Jenny did OK despite some physical issue of some kind. Sung Hyun, Jin Young and So Yeon all had rounds in the 60s on Sunday, and In Gee a 70, so not a bad way to end. Amy, though. Is there any other player in history who has had four wins with three coming in one event? Se Ri loved the Farr Classic; she won it five times. But that was only 1/5 of her total career wins. This is 3/4 of Amy's! And Amy has yet to win outside Asia. Still, she has shown she has all the gifts to be a great player again. Don't count her out this year; maybe she will at last get her long awaited Major. Congrats to Amy! Hwaiting!!! Amy Celebrate Trophy Minjee Lee Jenny Shin Eun Hee Ji Sung Hyun Park So Yeon Ryu Jin Young Ko Hyo Joo Kim Sei Young Kim In Gee Chun Danielle Kang Su Oh Chella Choi Mi Hyang Lee

Yes, there was a delay for lightning in the area, so TGC replayed part of round three to fill the time. I was very happy that they showed the finish of the tournament instead of cutting over to a replay of the Puerto Rico Open.

The winner's WITB:
I saw her playing Fourteen's FH 900 Forged irons at the Seaview last year. Fourteen's TC 788 Forged irons look like some kind of throwback to the early 1990s...but, I can't complain about that soft-landing 4-iron she hit into #18 on Sunday. The 788s have slightly stronger lofts than the 900s. Pajaree Anannarukarn and Hanule Sky Seo are two other players I saw gaming the 900s last year.

A rare moment when Judy spoke her mind Well, it WAS practically right behind the hole. It wasn’t behind the hole. Before Amy played Ariya’s ball was to the right of the hole, and she felt it was not on her intended line.
